Hey everyone!
Just sharing an update on the 26 New Habit challenge & also a very, hard valuable lesson I learned through failing. I majorly screwed up on one of my major goals & it was a wake up call on how I have been truly showing up for myself.

I love how you are taking it in a positive way as a wake up call to make new goals! Love your thoughts about time blocking and just showing up!! Writer's block is so hard so love how you said how important it is to just be consistent and get it done!!

I love your transparency. I find that reading helps with my creativity. Even simple material like magazines can help to inspire fresh ideas. You got this gurl!

I’ve slowly learned to celebrate even the failures. That it’s ok to fail because yes we all learn & grow from it! Thank yo so much for your comment! 💗

This was a very vulnerable video to make, thank you for sharing Mama! That must have been disappointing, I have had things like that happen before. I recently heard a journalist ask someone “what is your best mistake that you have ever made?” And I LOVED that question! Mistakes are such a good opportunity for learning. I think Abe has it right in saying, “To say that you have never made a mistake is to say you are no smarter than you were yesterday”

Love that quote! Yes mistakes & failure often aren’t celebrated enough in society. So necessary as part of the process & to grow.

How many times have I let fear stop me from doing something I know I should?! Thanks for the encouragement.

I would prefer to have the habits update here! Sometimes I don’t get to watch ig stories so I will miss them. Here I try to go back and watch whatever I missed when I get a chance :)

Admitting our failures is not easy at all but when we allow ourselves to be vulnerable like that, amazing things happen ❤️😊 Also, I call it soda now but grew up calling it pop 🤣

If you haven’t read it, let me recommend ‘The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business’ by Charles Duhigg. I’m about halfway through reading it right now. It is a fascinating narrative approach to how habits work for people individually, but also company-wide and society-wide, and how to change those habits effectively to your best benefit. Because I’ve seen your creative side through your drawing, like your debt payoff rainbow that you fill in, I feel that you are a visual person when it comes to conceptualizing change. I think you might really get something out of the illustrations in the book of different feed back loops and what they look like when they change. Might give you some ideas and inspiration to affect positive changes as well. Good luck to you and keep plugging away. *You* have got this.

I love reading but haven’t checked this book out yet! Will definitely add it to my list! My creativity shows up more in video content & my bullet journal for sure. Just will keep plugging away in terms of getting it to show up in creative writing process. Thank you so much for your recommendations & support!
