The good thing is you did all the really hard work that a lot of people don't have the skills to do. Now someone can do all the fun stuff and finish your project.

You're killing me I watched all the videos in order! I came back to watch the next one and I see this. I hear you though I've been redoing an old boat outdoors in the blazing heat and sometimes I wonder why not just buy a boat that's ready to go fishing

As soon as i saw it on Facebook marketplace i knew which boat it was. Thanks so much for your videos, they inspired me to buy my own project boat. Your videos are so easy to follow and gave me the confidence to dive in a have a go at my own boat. I often check back in to the wealth of knowledge they provide, thanks for taking us on the journey.

I'm sorry you had to sell the boat after all the efforts you put in this restoration. Anyway, if you were not able to have it completed for the various reasons you mentioned, selling the boat was probably the right move. Boats are damn expensive to maintain, unfortunately 😢

Gday mate yep know the feeling had to sell my last one to pay for a wedding , i said i would never get another but here i am killing it and just finished a 2 year resto .No where near as big as yours only a 15 footer but it does take a lot of time and effort and money just for example 9200 .00 for a mid range new engine for starters ,one for your boat probably would have cost 3 x as much .But your a young bloke and im sure that you will either get another to resto or buy a good second hand or new boat plenty of time mate you have the skills and determination ,i am 64 and this is definetley my last resto im to old to be climbing into spots where an 18 year old should be going take care .

After our third bi annual rebuild of our glass boat (inside, trailer and outside over 6 years), we sold our 17 foot pacemaker. We had planned to build a plate boat but yeah, 2 -3 year project…no thanks. we found a 7.2m second hand one that fits the bill. You only live once and debt when you’re young isn’t a bad thing. No point having the biggest bank account in the cemetery when your gravestone said you worked and did nothing else.

Yea it def made me tear up since i was here for the whole build. And watching u and ur pops working together and memories for you guys. Im sure it was a hard decision to make. I just dont know if i could of done that. 😢😢😢. Great content as usual and im sure u will get yourself another one soon.

Evaluation, decision made, boat sold. Business, personal commitments, choosing to fish rather than two more years of expensive weekend boat repairs. Lifestyle choices. Will miss the rebuild side, dad and uncle's company. To different adventures.
