Not to mention that claw machines are literally set up by the owners of wherever the machine is at and they can make the claw have 0 sensitivity and be super scummy.

Technically the US machines are set up so the machine automatically pities you after it's received a dollar amount set by the owner of the machine. Of course, by "pities you" I mean "finally functions in a way where it is conceivably possible to win".

I have noticed that Japanese games of any kind, are not greedy. Even with claw machines, the staff will help you if you spend enough money, where in America, they are not allowed to help and it's used for a cash grab.

Where I live, we don't have crane mashines arcades anywhere near as far as I know ( Germany, maaaybe in some major cities) BUT we have one town that celebrates "Säubrenner" (pork burner) and they Lways Hve about 10 crane mashines for that. They are extremely cash grab, but with little luck and skill you can get some things cheap ( though mostly waky quality) In general you won't receive help because they want as much profit as possible, but very occasionally you'll have the one person that will look if someone sees him/her, and if not push it in for you ^~^

The bad thing about these kind of machines where I played them is that sometimes they are programmed to randomly let go of the shit you picked up. Feels really cheap and like a slot machine. Dunno if it’s like that in US

@@Lucaz99 it sounds similar to US crane machines. sometimes when a crane machine is more expensive mean it’s harder to get. most of the time the craw would be so weak that it doesn’t have a good grip making the prizes even harder.

@@Lucaz99 most of the US crane games, that I know of, are like the ones where Connor got the Mario carts. Those kind, here in the us, are programed to have a weak grip until you spent enough time/money on it. But for conner it seemed, probably because of editing, like it took way less time to win comparatively. And to add the prizes in Japan seem to have a better price to quality ratio to them.
