It's refreshing, to see someone who isn't doing "van life" in a $150k+ custom van. This method is much more attainable, and I think it will inspire more people to try this.

I can't put into word how artistically beautiful each of your videos are, they almost give off a sense of euphoria watch. I feel like most KZfaqr have a generic sense to their videos but Natalie put such great care and detail into each of hers. From a Photographers point of view you can see just how much time and Love goes into each and every clip. She not only an amazing filmmaker but an amazing story teller, and in a lot of aspects that even more important.

I randomly found your channel from this video snd I’m so blown away. I mean, I’ve never seen anything like this. I’m in awe and a little jealous and can’t wait to see what you create. Thank you for reminding me what good storytelling can and should look like. I so so appreciate it.

Natalie's skill and message truly transcends all age groups and walks of life. I usually am made sad or jealous by the success of others (small minded, I know) but something about Natalie's authenticity is truly infectious. I feel genuinely inspired more than I have in a long time, such that I've actually taken my camera out of storage and gotten back into filmmaking. I became so distracted and discouraged by the dystopian algorithms and "influencer" lifestyles that it made me lose sight of what I loved so much about filmmaking to begin with. Her story about not caring about money, uploading regularly, or worrying about copyright, or the algorithm or monetization is really refreshing. I guess it's the age old "build it and they will come."

Into the wild is about an over privileged kid who gave up a life 99% of the world would want and thought he knew better than the locals in dealing with the back country in Alaska to only starve to death close to a supply station. Anyone who glamorizes this stupid misses the true meaning of the book, it is not about the unknown and what comes next. Its about respecting your discoveries and following the ways of area while in a new area. His death was preventable and his stupidity has acted as a guide for others to follow in his footsteps and die in that same bus. I grew up less than 10 mins away from this kid, everyone says it was a tale of stupidity

i saw your van renovation video about a month ago when i began to work on my van and i immediately subscribed bc i loved the video and your whole vibe in general. i was feeling alone and confused about my feelings towards moving away and everything that my future holds and i turned to your videos and they really helped. i feel like i relate to so many things you said and sorry if that sounds cliche but it just is, i don't know if maybe a lot of people who I've never met think like that as well but ive just never heard a stranger speak my thoughts the way you did in your videos, if that makes sense. ive never related to a stranger on a screen as much as you, and i dont feel understood by anyone (besides one person) but i feel like you understand somehow, a stranger on a screen. i especially enjoyed listening to your explanation on why you want to live in a van and i can definitely relate to some of the reasons, i really felt when you said "im sure these thoughts will unravel a bit more like during van life and everything but i just know as of right now i need to get the flip out of my parents house" because that's just how i feel like ive literally told my friend something just like that and when you said it in this video i was like EXACTLY, I NEED TO FRICKIN LEAVE!! anyways sorry if this is a weird comment but i just wanted to thank you for putting me in a better mood and to tell you that your videos are amazing, i really admire the videography and editing. i hope you get to read this :)

It is so awkward when people give me that look like "you're a loser" when they learn I quit my job and moved into a van lol. As if it wasn't completely my choice and I saved tens of thousands in preparation for it. A massive part of this process is taking a leap of faith and forgetting what society thinks. It is nice to see a community being this supportive, but I genuinely worried with this choice. Yes, her parents work all their lives, but that is kinda what enabled her to even exist. An actual home and a proper life is expensive, and living in a van is not a good thing for resume. If you ever want a change. Is she going to live rest of her life in a van? And isnt it weird van life become an alternative to having an actual house? Like there is a bigger problem under it, and this just solves a symptom?

@@randomdude8202 she is just doing it for fun. If she goes to college i am pretty sure she is going to do arts, a degree which really doesn't get you any good Job. Imo, she is doing the right thing by focusing on youtube and her other businesses (patreon, merch, sponsorships, freelancing her services, maybe get a minimum wage job? ). She just needs to work on getting her channel monetized. She can literally live with her parents until 22 and save enough money, invest and then move out of her parents house. Atleast this way she won't end up in college debt. The reason why i am saying she will defenitely choose an arts degree and not some other degree such as business is because I have seen her complain about school in many of her videos. It is something that she absolutely hates and i think she is not meant for school either.

I have no doubt she has earned money on her own and has been taught to earn, save and make choices on purchases-those lessons are typically taught by families with means. But for someone that 1) professes to have chronic, near-crippling anxiety, 2) has a steady supply of money to spend at Starbucks, and 3) Apple laptops and fantastic camera equipment she is certainly postured to explore with freedom more so than many of her peers. That was my point.

I like your style and the creative path you take the viewer on. Its always fun for me to find people who do things differently and make it their own. I look forward to your next video! Oh and I watched the video "I became everything I wanted"...I get your point of view and share the same sentiments as well. You seem like a genuine human being who just wants to create and show it to those who like watching things that speak to them. Just my opinion, Hope all is well!

The whole style of this video makes me think of Coniferous forests & I'm loving EVERY part of it, the storytelling & editing are incredibly phenomenal, felt EVERY part about your view on materialism & how you felt it was way too overvalued while growing up, that's what inspired my move too!!

I love your videos, you have an amazing vision of how to tell a story before you even press the record button. I follow a lot of van life or nomadic youtube channels here and I can easily say your videos are the best in terms of story, visual aesthetic, and purity. I'm looking forward to watching all your videos and catching up to where you are now 😊✌️

Very much enjoyed the part at 5:56 when the Gregory Alen Isakov song "Amsterdam" starts playing and you show the effort and passing of time with the changing backgrounds and stuff. Great story telling, film making and really just taste there and in the rest of the video. Great work!!

I just found your channel, love the video, the story, the van itself, you as a person, the concept, the mentality, everything seems to be so perfect yet simple. Is there anything better than these type of adventures? I think this is the dream life. A path to another world of your own choices and imagination. Escape, yet not running away from civilization and people, but only choosing a different way of living, allowing yourself to experience the whole new meaning of life. I am very impressed by your ability to show so many by making videos. Hope everything goes well, can't wait for the uploads. Thank you for encouraging me to follow my dreams.
