I talk about the BaliPlus Kraken (good beater?)

TLDW sound is loud and not as great as the Armed Shark version. Handles are better but struggle to carry momentum. Weight is good but lighter than a real Kraken. It is NOT a live blade. IMO a great beater, worth the money in terms of flipping performance.

frkn love ur vids, u say everything i wanna know. just got a B+ all silver bowie kraken but the way u sanded it made me wish i got the inked version… guess ill just get a inked tanto too🤣. if u have trouble with undersized bushings, try sanding the washer a tiny smidge. the side that faces the handle and not the blade side. and if u sand too much and get tap then sand the bushing until its good, but do it very sparingly or it will bind towards the ends of the handle swing.

Hey thank you. I appreciate what you had to say. I might try the washers thing if the extra bushing are undersized. My first tuning experience went okay but taking them apart always worries me cuz I feel like I’m gonna do something wrong lol

@@pez_flips holy fuck im yapping but ofc! keep up the vids. loving ur stuff man. ya tuning, for such a simple mechanism it can get pretty complex. i spent like 20 hours on my vulp until everything sort of clicked one day😭. the way i see it is if you have binding, sand washer until its good. if it has wiggle, sand bushing until its good and if u sand bushing down too much and get binding again you can sand the washer again. and i repeat that process until i have it to machinewise tolerances. but if u do that too much ull sand the bushing lower than the thickness of the blade and then it binds no matter what… also flat side of washer towards the blade. sand the rounded side… sand bushing like 3-5 rotations by 400 grit and do your best to sand evenly or it will do weird things to the swing of the handle. i only sand one side of the bushing and one washer until its perfect… hey could be a good excuse to screw up and get squid hardware… i wanna see a vid of how u sharpened ur kraken i wanna sharpen my hydra blade and put it on my vulp pro

That’s a tough one. The handles for AS are a little better but it’s hard to say. The issue for me personally is that the AS is really handle bias making fans feel really bad. The balance in the blade makes the B+ more worth it overall while being cheaper
