It's actually a very scientific hack to expand the metal using heat and use that to solve the problem. It can be further used in opening tight steel containers which don't open or other metal tiffins which become too tight. The key idea is that substances (esp. metal) expand when heated. Glad it worked!!

i enjoyed the video, but i've actually tried the ice cream cake myself and it turned out amazingg. not sure what proportions you used, but the one i made with ice cream, flour and baking powder was really good!

Hi Shivesh, I am a novice baker and I have tried your vanilla sponge, my first cake (it was excellent), the lemon cake- again very good, your Christmas edible gifts (not baking but still), your chocolate mug cake and now the easiest chocolate cake with a ganache frosting. the crumb, the moisture, the top, everything turns out so good. I really feel like the sugar in your chocolate cakes is less (the mug cakes and the easy chocolate cake which you filmed with your daadi- where you say we have to trust the recipe!) What am I doing wrong? Is it the use of fine sugar as opposed to caster sugar? Or is it my vanilla quantity? Or is it that I am using unsweetened cocoa? Please let me know. I am so used to your recipes now that I don't want to try someone else!
