Book meaning to read : Dinner with Persephone by Patricia Storace. I bought the book at a discount bookstore during the first year the Ontario Mills mall in Ontario,CA opened up. That was 1996. I’m not kidding. The second book is Sister Hollywood by C.K Stead. I’ve had this book also since 1996 when I bought it at the First LA Times Festival of Books that was held at UCLA when I went to college.

I'm with you on the waaaaaaaaay too ambitious April tbr. A book i keep putting off is The Way of Kings (or any Cosmere for that matter), but now i got it from the library so now i have a deadline by which i have to have read it

Sometimes your laughter sounded like laughing through the pain lol my tbr is basically the same length but I think it'll take more than a month or 2 😂

The Fifth Season. It’s staring at me right now and taunting me as I type this. “Read me Hannnnnaaah. I’ve been on your TBR for years.” 😂

Go for it. You will not regret it. I dallied too before finally picking up the Fifth Season. But when I did..holy mother, I binged the trilogy in a week. It was excellent! The world, the characters, and the story were top tier.
