This week I return from being down with the sickness (Ooo a-a-a-a) with a video featuring what is possibly my favorite decks, Dragon Links!
Ravemon has some new tricks so lets see if I can beat it :D

Great matches! Love to see the D-Linkz. There's definitely support in the future, as only two of the four Dragon Types listed on Hina have been used (if I remember correctly). I think a great support would be a new Hina, something like 5 Cost, Memory Setter, and lets you Draw when you play a Dragon? Or maybe to gain memory/reduce Play Cost of Dragons? Also, just wanted to say that Rave absolutely needs to use Kimera. I've been able to trash 6 cards off of one stack, from DNA'd 2x Falco, 2x Peck, a 3rd Falco or Peck from the Kimera tuck effect, and the 1x Rave ofc. Absolutely devistating.

Yeah absolutely, more dragons and a 5 cost Hina that sets and draws would probably be ideal! I also really want an egg that works well with the deck, nothing currently works well with what you are trying to do 🫠 I forgot about Kimera, holy cow that sounds toxic 😂😂😂

@@TheSqueakyMoose Lol totally forgot about an egg. An egg that's like "When Attacking, if this dude has an On Play, Draw 1". That'd be nice for a whole bunch of decks!

@@TheSqueakyMoose I run a set of BT8 Gurimons for eggs in my LINKZ deck, which does draw me a card whenever attacking with basically any Lv.5 in the deck. Still not the most ideal but it's consistently useful at least.

I think there were a few times Ravemon's On Delete was misused. Either forgetting to use it when using the option or Trashing a card in opponent's hand when they had 7 or less in hand. You only get to trash a card in hand and add security to hand if they have specifically 8 in hand.

Yeah the ordering is important for that, I didn't quite realize that the trashing was conditional on 8 or more. Might have changed activations but I don't think it would have necessarily changed the outcome 🤔 Thanks for pointing this out though, helps me not misplay in the future!

@@TheSqueakyMoose No worries, it's can be hard to keep track of 8 different on deletion triggers. Was still a fun match to watch when Ravemon seems really under represented.

I agree with the idea that dragon link getting more support in the future, because if you look at the tamers affect its states 4 different dragon types which means there's two other lines to be released before it really pops off

Ravemon can only return if it's end of attack and if it has sources right?

Option Card allows the playing of the Ravemon from Trash as an effect

Yeah only if it has sources from the end of attack effect but if it’s deleted by the option it can be source less 😳

Fire Ball miss play? can only use options cards if the same colour Digimon or Tamer is on the battlefield (unless specified). Please do correct me if im wrong as I also believe the Breeding Zone does not count towards this.

Ravemon is bad match for dragon links considering ravemo deletes their own digimon to bring them when the turn ends

Yeah I couldn’t use any of my options when I had them haha Bit rough but if you draw right I think it can work out :D

Ravemon can only come back if he has sources when he was deleted. Need to read cards

he came back because of the option effect, not his own effect, the option lets him revive at the end of opponents turn

I could have been a little clearer sorry, whenever he came back from being deleted without sources it was part of the option effect 🫠 Thanks for pointing that out though I’m sure you’re not the only one who was thinking the same

The amount of misplays is a bit too much tho, and if you could say like oh maybe not adding a card or forgetting to pop one effect, but these are game changing misplays. I'd say you all need to go a bit slower see what procs before doing anything else

Yeah we switch decks a lot which makes it hard to remember exactly how everything works 😅 we do play at a fairly normal speed, its sped up and cut down to make it a better watch but even if we reeeeaaaally take our time with it I'll probably still find a way to misplay 🤣 I'm trying to be better though 😬
