Here in Tanzania, apart from using the oil for beauty's of hair and skin, we also use the pounded leaves of the castor tree to rubb and massage the swollen areas, the injured muscles and it does the total healing just next day Thanx for great info for many to learn. EDITED FOR CLARITY. SEE ALL-CAPS WORDS ADDED TO THE THIRD SENTENCE. Great info as usual, Shea. Here’s another use for castor oil. I’m a Nordic blonde with thin, delicate skin. IN THE EARLY 2000s, when I was in my early 50s, my hands became covered with dozens of dark brown seborrheic keratoses - practically overnight. This was from plenty of unprotected sun exposure from 1949 to 1967. My doctor told me to cover my hands in castor oil and cotton gloves overnight and every night until I saw results. It took a couple months, but every last one of those age spots disappeared without a trace - never to return. I often use castor oil sparingly, like a lotion, on top of slightly damp skin, whenever my hands feel particularly dry or look more crepey than they have to. The castor oil treatments also seem to keep my skin from becoming too transparent and allowing my veins to completely show through. They also keep my veins from bulging out (as happens with most elderly women). While castor oil hasn’t given me back the hands of my youth, I’d say that my 74-year-old hands look like the hands of a 48-50 year old. And holding. 😊

@@vickiemartin1453. Vickie, I should clarify. The veins in the backs of my hands have always been small, but they started to become raised, darker, and a bit bulging this year. I hadn’t used castor oil as often as I maybe should have lately, so I upped my treatments and the veins flattened down and were less visible again. My skin appears thicker again. I’ve read often that castor oil can stimulate collagen production, and that could well be the case here. There is quite a difference. I’m sure it can help you, but these days there are medical procedures at vein treatment Centres that can help and are quick and pain free. Most hand veins typically disappear after only one sclerotherapy session and other veins take over their jobs. This hasn’t been something I’ve really needed as of yet, but I’ve heard about it and seen some great results. I had one sclerotherapy session on spider veins on my thigh some 30 years ago, and it was successful. As usual, speaking with a doctor is best. But castor oil is still so great!

Thanks for this vid! People should know how powerful is Castor oil, it helped my skin and hair A LOT. This with combination with microneedling, it's a big miracle. I have tried almost everything to look younger + delay aging as much as possible (Also been suffering from hairloss), anything from face exercises, vitamin C serum, Fraxel, collagen supplements and of course Retin A (7 years straight), home devices and what not. However, nothing made any real difference compared to the high-quality derma pen I purchased for around 100 bucks. Within 3 months of use, my skin has improved DRAMATICALLY. I don't look like I'm 18 again, but definitely not 44 either. My fine lines have disappeared completely, and my nasolabial folds are way less are nonexist, hair became thicker again. People often underestimate the power of wounding and the revolutionary effects it can have on the skin + thinking that using oils won't do much because it's natural.

+1 for kora. I started doing microneedIIing since it started 12 or so years ago. Nobody believe I am 55. They all say I am in my late 30's or early 40's. I assume it works so well because when we get older, our skin gets thinner therefore creating wrinkIes. But the wounding kept my skin still thick and youthful.

Putting castor oil just on your belly button is enough to heal and benefit everything you've mentioned in the video. The belly button is the focal point to 72 thousand veins and the centre of the belly button is connected to the central nervous system too. What I'm saying is that if people don't want to mission around putting it in their hair, stretch marks etc, just putting it in the belly button is actually enough. It will distribute throughout the body and benefit in many ways. I did research on it and experimented myself a few years back and my skin improved and was a lot more moisturised, my hair grew quicker and was a lot softer and shinier, my nails became stronger, my digestion improved etc. I did sometimes apply it directly on to me in some cases like for example imperfections on feet and eyelashes only sometimes, but mainly just my belly button and I saw drastic changes just by doing that alone. I did this for a while I'm not sure why I stopped, you've inspired me to do it again 😊 thank you for your video

@@carriemartin4837 I didn't have any at the time but I've ordered more and doing it again so I can update here after a week if I see any changes. I had a small brown mole on my nose that enlarged and grew dark. I was supposed to have it cut out and was told it would leave a hole.I put castor oil on it continuously for 2 weeks.I got a washcloth one day and scrubbed my nose with hot water in frustrated anger. To my shock - I noticed a small bleeding hole where the mole had been. It healed up completely without leaving a trace.That was 23 years ago and never came back.Castor oil can work miracles.

I dissolved/broke down/disappeared a breast lump using a castor oil heat pack (DIY). I also added frankincense oil to the castor for good measure. ;) My doctor wanted to go straight to biopsy and I asked for some time to try non-invasive techniques. Everyone was shocked. A nurse came back in my exam room afterwards to quietly ask what I had done because she had just discovered a lump as well and was scared of the biopsy route. And that was that!

Could you pls let me know on how to do that DIY?
@JessicaNiles
@JessicaNiles 6 ай бұрын
@@ayishasadique1620 you can Google a castor oil pack for more details BUT- just keep it simple. Don't buy any expensive kit. You soak a cotton or flannel cloth in castor oil, 1-2 tablespoons or so. This is reusable. Don't throw it out! Then place the soaked cloth on the area you want to treat. On top of THAT, lay a good amount of plastic wrap (Saran Wrap or whatever) over it, and then a heating pad on top of all that. (Save your soaked cloth in a jar for the next time.) I did this for 30-45 minutes once or twice a day. Don't let the stickiness of castor oil dissuade you! It's a beast to deal with at first but it DOES penetrate and you don't end up a gloppy mess. Just make sure you have everything you need before settling down for your treatment. I like to have a slightly soapy wet washcloth nearby to wipe my hands as needed. Good luck!!

I'm happy that you had success with dissolving your breast lump. However, in general please don't think that you're a qualified professional and able to treat or cure breast lumps. That type thinking has led many women to think that they can use naturopathic medicine to treat breast cancer. Sadly, all of the women including a cousin who tried to do so are now dead.

@@sharpeipups You can use a castor oil pack to keep the oil off your clothing. Amazon has several types. I bought one with elastic bands that had buttonholes in it so it fits multiple sized people. My husband and I just bought some castor oil and it happens to be Jamaican Black Castor Oil. It's in an amber colored glass bottle, no Hexane, it's organic and cold pressed; has all the requirements. We got it because my husband had this stye on his lower eyelid and everything I had read about castor oil and it healing styles - well why not try it. It's actually working!! I had heard about castor oil for years but wasn't aware of it's healing effects for so many things. I'm trying it tonight on my sinus area that is infected. I'm excited to see what happens. One of the most profound impacts castor oil had was in my sleep. This is a remedy that my Mom gave me 20 years ago and I absolutely have seen it work. Basically, you lather a generous amount of castor oil on your eyelids (with your eyes closed) and experience super dense deep sleep. Next morning all the castor oil is gone and you feel refreshed

I just have to let you know about the results I have experienced using castor oil since watching this video! I have been dealing with eyelid dermatitis, primarily on the right side for well over a year now. It would get better then worse again but never completely go away. My right eyelid always looked dry and crusty, especially with eyeshadow. Well, literally after about 3 days using castor oil, the dermatitis has completely disappeared!!! I have used prescription steroid creams intermittently for over a year with nowhere near these results and without the side effects such as skin thinning. I have also been using all over my face at night and I can honestly say my skin looks amazing! I would have never tried castor oil if I hadn’t watched this video. And I was really expecting nothing but boy was I wrong. I am a complete convert and will be recommending this to anyone who will listen. Thanks Shea!!!

You may also use high quality castor oil (not Walmart horse rub) on your mucous membranes (down there) to stop itching etc etc etc. Castor oil soaks in completely through your skin and then begins to drive effluvia and dead cells and dirt to the nearest lymph gland and then out of the body. The lymphatic system empties into the large bowel. This happens because castor oil is a cathartic (skin laxative). Put castor oil on one side of your face ( body) and then compare results.

Watching this emerging caster oil phenomenon puts a smile to my face! I've recently noticed you lovely ladies on yt talking about caster oil and I've paid extra attention for differentreasons. This is one product you'll find in most black families' bathrooms. we use it on our beautiful afro-hair at different times. My little lovely story took me back to my Sunday school years growing up in kenya, ❤. we had a ritual/routine whereby after church service we went to visit a great grandma who was in her late 90's every Sunday without a fail for as long as she lived😊x. My beautiful lady had a farm which she grew all sorts of fruits and plants but was mainly known for sugarcane plants, bananas, and Castor trees. I remember as a little girl with my siblings and extended cousins watching her doing her things, she used to press caster oil beans the traditional way, i was too young to pay attention to the process. But, this was medicinal recipe for any bodily ailments any one of us everpresented with, you so much as winced she'll find you with a spoonful of this concoction which i thought smelt funky but my nana lived for it. She lived until no one knew how old she was by the time she passed away, way over 100yo ++++ Fast forward into my adulthood in Europe and i come across this product, my head went into a spin thinking....i know that smell its familiar when i saw what it was i smiled with joy and appreciation 😊x my nana knew back then almost 50 years ago that this gem delivers what the mainstream medicine couldn't explain 😊x Im genuinely curious to see how far ghis one stretches to, let's see what the mainstream science has to say because this will become something none of us is ready for 😊x I continue to use it on my afro as and when I remember. Im loving the reviews and watching this with interests. Thanks goodness for influencers like yourself to allow some moments of indulgence and beautiful memories 😊x Lots of love ❤️ 🇬🇧 x

These comments are pure gold, like someone else said! I want to share my experience with castor oil. I have used it as eye drops! I went to the eye doctor over 6 years ago and had gotten glasses. (I've worn glasses most of my life!) They did scans and everything. Told me I had the beginnings of cataracts, which many people do! I went back almost a year ago (May 2023) and they repeated the same scans. The doctor was a new doctor in that office but had been an eue doctor for years! She could NOT tell the scans apart except the dates on the scans themselves! She told me whatever I was doing to keep doing it! I had use castor oil as eye drops for the previous couple months just for a moisterizer. Yes! I bought dropper bottles and put it directly in my eyes! It took away my floaters and apparently, kept my eyes healthier! She said the cataract growth had not grown at all! She showed me the scans and they looked identical!! I'm definitely NOT a professional but they looked identical! I have looked into castor oil and have suggested it to my firneds and family for all sorts of issues! I use it all over my face and down my throat, not every night but I'm trying to get into that habit again. My next trial is going to be trying to use it onmy scalp! I have scalp psoriasis and want to see if it helps! I have heard and read it helps with thyroid issues, inflammation and arthritis as well as things you mentioned and people have mentioned below! Thank you for this video and sharing your experiences with it!!

I think it would be worth a try! It may take a couple weeks to see any results but I really don't think it would hurt you! Try it one night. If it doesn't burn and you feel no ill effects, try it for a couple nights. Use your own discretion. It's your eyes and your body. I'm just sharing what I did and how it helped me! To be honest with you. I had these skin and hair loss issues due to hormonal imbalance. Have rashes all over my torso and dry skin and consistent hair loss. I come across a video on youtube about castor oil. I decided to get one last week. I used it sparingly to my head and torso and my skin started to get clearer, and dry skin slowly disappear. My scalp and hair feels so soft. Hair loss started to eased but still have hair falling but not as a lot. Will see within a month. Will update everyone ❤

The difference between castor oil and black castor oil is: "“Regular” castor oil is generally pale yellow to clear in color. Jamaican Black Castor Oil is exactly the opposite. The beans are roasted to produce a dark color. The color is actually ash." "However, the main difference between the two is the way they are processed. Black castor oil is made from roasted castor seeds, while regular castor oil is made from cold-pressed castor seeds. The roasting process gives black castor oil a dark color and a stronger, more pungent odor compared to regular castor oil." Noting the difference, I would use the regular castor oil, because roasting the castor beans for the black castor oil involves heat, which for me defeats the process of "cold pressed" castor oil. This is just my preference, mind you.

It's great for regrowing hair that has fallen out for stress. Mix it with a thinner oil (I use coconut oil) 50-50 and put it on your scalp. I use one of those hair color applicator bottles to get it directly on my scalp, you can get at a beauty supply store or order online. Also, rub it around your front hairline and it thickens the hair there. Most people give up on it too soon. With hair loss from stress, it may take 6 months or more to regrow. Using castor oil has made mine grow back in 3 months, and it's still thickening up. Also, if you have seborrheic keratosis, those nasty dark raised mole-like things on your skin, mix about 2 ozs of castor oil with two drops of tea tree oil and rub it on them daily. It will eventually make them fall off. Keep treating them about once a month to keep them from growing back. You were talking about headaches mix castor oil with a drop or two of lavender oil and rub it into your temples, on your sinuses, or at the bottom of your hair line on the back of your neck, depending on where the headaches originates from. It relaxes the muscles and cures the headache.

In many parts of India we massage castor oil all over a baby’s body and keep the baby in the early morning sun for 10-15 minutes. I have done it for my son till he was 3 years old. He is 28 now and he never had skin problems, or stomach issues and has stronger bones and healthier hair, which grows so fast he has to get a haircut practically every 2 weeks. My mom did the same with me. And at 55 I lift heavy weights, I have thick long hair and have a skin of a 30 year old. This stuff is natures magic potion. @@hgib3 yes exactly… well explained. Thank you. Castor oil has antibacterial and anti microbial properties as well. We even use Mustard oil for massaging. I am 62 years young and have struggled with dry skin “out of nowhere” and finding I can’t find a makeup foundation that doesn’t find or create tiny fine wrinkle lines… it has been exasperating, embarrassing, and verging in depressing. I am SHOCKED at how great my skin looks. Not only eliminating those fine lines but age old scars and problems I have had for years… What?? It’s real. I have started slow to see if this is actually really real because I am hoping it can be a solution for other skin related concerns. I LOVE that you mentioned the calluses on your feet!! I’m So excited to try that starting tonight!!

Hi Laurie I'm nearly 67 and use Ilia brand makeup... it is excellent. A bit pricey but lasts ages. I have had melanoma so need a foundation w a good SPF (and they use natural mineral based). No sinking in to creases and very nourishing feeling. I'm waiting on my castor oil and can't wait to get started!

I just found an incredible makeup concealer for older skin like ours. I also had the same problem with makeups exaggerating my fine lines under my eyes. Fiera Cosmetics is my miracle! It works like magic, I swear! I love their lotions,too. My hyperpigmentation is half of what it used to be and I have only been using them for two months! Imagine what castor oil mixed in will do! Just wanted to share.

I got rid of a cyst type of bump that I'd get like every couple years on the back of my neck. And I used to have to wait till it got bigger and full of yukky pus, before I could try to drain it! Sorry Y'all, but that's the truth! I put castor oil on the thing, and literally like the following day I could see a difference! In a few days the thing was gone! Thought Id share even if just for one person that might need it! THANK THE LORD FOR HIS GOODNESS! Yall have A GODnight! 👑

@@tasbiaqureshi1856 I would put some castor oil on a piece of gauze, and then tape it on my neck! Like medical tape. Any kind that stays on skin. Just pin your hair up while you tape it down! It will get rid of it!😊

@pamrodriguez6289 4 ай бұрын
@@tasbiaqureshi1856 take some gauze or just tissue, fold it in a size that will cover the cyst, apply castor oil on the tissue or other, and tape over the cyst! You can use that paper-like tape/medical tape. It's like castor oil pulls the cyst to the surface and it will drain it much faster than just waiting for it to grow and drain on it's own! Allowing the cyst to grow can be quite painful! 😞 The best thing is that you apply the castor oil at the time you feel the tiniest bump! Hope this helps! HAVE A GODay! 👑

Shea, I mix a teaspoon of castor oil with a teaspoon of coconut oil and swish it in my mouth for about ten minutes every evening before brushing my teeth. It works wonders on my teeth and gums. I believe it even helped with a cavity. Just my personal opinion.

Using castor oil for the exterior only is not sufficient. You need to use it to also cleanse your colon at least two times a month. I take 3 Tablespoons every first week of the month, then 2 Tablespoons mid-month, every month. Don’t drink sugary drinks and don’t eat junk food. Drink fruit juice that you squeeze yourself and eat fresh vegetables. Your body will love you.

Coming from Tamil Nadu (India), as a child, I remember using this often for so many things. Especially whenever I had stomach ache, I used this on my lower abdomen and in the belly button of course, and it worked wonders. I also mixed it with other oils to apply it all over my body, and for my hair too. This oil is very traditional to us and used widely in past, however, it is sad that people started forgetting it. Always better to start slow and in small quantities to see how the body reacts to it. I believe the experiences shared in this video coming from the culture where it was/is used widely.

Severely reduced neuropathy in my feet! Joint pain relief for about 6-7 hours in ankles, elbows, hands, fingers. Awesome for chapped lips! Helped improve my vision! Used it applied to eyelids, around eyes. Place thick layer under your armpits before applying deodorant (about 15-20 minutes). Absolutely helped with blood circulation and spider veins in ankles and legs!

I grew up with castor oil as a staple in our home. Our dad gave us a tablespoon of it at least once a quarter, and every time we got sick. Nanny would rub it on moles and any bump she wanted gone. I use it on my brows and temples/edges to make the hair grow. I also take it in capsule form daily 🎉

I had a huge cyst in my breast like the size of an orange. I ended up at a breast surgeon and she drained it and had me re-schedule for 6 months she said it would probably come back and it did, but this time I used castor oil mixed with DMSO and it worked so well and so fast I only used it twice directly on the breast lump and it went away. The Doctor was pretty shocked!

8:00 KZfaq’s Censorship is a SERIOUS problem. Infringing upon American’s free speech rights is not ok. The escalating censorship is having a profoundly negative effect on our society. It’s insidious because the effect is covert and may seem subtle but we are at a point where we often can no longer be honest for fear of retribution from “the machine”. When I look around at the state of our country, it doesn’t feel anything like the America that I grew up in.
