If a person is eating actual healthful foods, they would, indeed, poop less. There is, after all, less waste. Eat junk and the body will remove it, or try to remove it if the kidneys and liver are healthy enough and if it's not stored in fat cells.

Exactly. If you eat quality food your body uses it for fuel/energy. Eat garbage and your body will dispose of it. Just like you’re supposed to chew your food until it dissolves in your mouth. That way your body use that fuel right away. If you swallow chunks then your body is taking more time to break down that food to use it. If you chew your food, you will get full faster.

I was a vegan for 7 years and developed type 2 diabetes… starting in January of this year I had to reacquaint myself with all the animal products I refused to eat… grass fed beef… cage free eggs… butter etc… it was very hard in the beginning because I thought I was hurting my body but honestly I was at an impasse because I actually thought I was healthy WRONG.. fast forward to today… I’m 52 pounds lighter and my A1 C is almost back to normal.. before my diagnosis I would have never believed the carnivore diet was healthy but life has made a believer out of me 💕

I understand why people think the carnivore community is lying. We are being lied to every day by our government, the “scientists”, and the people who should have our best health in mind. I am 73 and since turning to Carnivore, four months ago. I have had a complete turn around! No more bloating, no digestive issues, no gas, Sinus' are healing, no pain when we fly, no anything, I feel great. I started iin March. We are moving this month and i have been running up and down the basement stairs with no problem carrying boxes and sorting and organizing. I can provide pictures if you want me to. It has been only four weeks and we completely cleaned out our basement, had a yard sale, I emptied all my drawers and closets, washed all the bedding for two bedrooms plus ten extra blankets and 14 pillow (regular and throw). I have already emptied my office and most of my kitchen. I am never sore and my chiropractor said I basically have zero inflammation. I feel like I am thirty again, except no more pain, only slight allergies after suffering all my life. All levels are normal and I am building muscle like crazy! Only five months ago I could hardly get out of bed some days. Now I wake up ready to go. I will be Carnivore forever, any one who says I am 'missing out' by not eating sugar and carbs, has no idea what I went through suffering before. I love you steak and butter girl! Meat, eggs, cream, bacon, custard, egg nog, hard boiled eggs, I am never hungry and always feel satisfied and strong. Blessings to you and Dr Anthony Chaffee! You both changed my life!

Thank you for your detailed account of changes 😂😂😂😂 ❤❤❤❤ I’ve gotta get back strict, and you said something that will kick me into high gear again… chiropractor, I know about inflammation etc.. but I’ve noticed the neck and rhomboid pain has been very minimal, I’m usually focused on wow my hip doesn’t hurt or this or that. I didn’t even think of the muscle spasms & targeting that area. Just wow the lightbulb came on. I’ll be 58 soon, I want your same energy to be a daily for me, so I guess this is it, no more back and forth ketovore carnivor & cheating. . I no longer have gut issues. Due to gut I started intermittent fasting Fall 2019, works great..I went full blown carnivore last Nov. 1st for 30 days, but then I started dibble dabble again. I can’t do the ketovore foods or I just go nuts I’ll eat ALL the chaffles etc. Family members had a farm so I grew up on beef, and whole foods, never sick or overweight. When I started going thru puberty that was also when diet pop and other processed foods got introduced into our home & just a few. I gained at least 15lbs over the Summer I turned 14. My mom did Atkins’s when it first came out in early 70s so I’ve always know about low carb for weight loss, but this full blow carnivore is a game changer. I had phenomenal blood work Dr said, but when I turned about 54 the tables turned on me, weight gain, gut issues , joint pain, and borderline diabetic… Nope I will never go on meds!! I dropped 30lbs low carb. I do exercise, but if I’m not putting foods in to spike insulin, there’s less to pump out through exercise, that’s a plus. I quite drinking alcohol almost 3 years ago too. So thank you for sharing your moving story 😂😂😂 I truly appreciate it and what you said really resonates. God bless & knowing that I’ve got a great future ahead of me is inspiring to know that others older than I have also turned the tables. I refuse to be bed ridden and can’t walk. Not me!!

The real problem with a strict carnivore diet is that your are now NOT carb-addicted and those who ARE carb-addicted go absolutely crazy at any mention of no carbs. The reason for this is that highly refined carbs taste amazing and light up the same pleasure centers in the brain as heroin does. The hatred is a fear response. I haven't heard of any carb maniacs that have physically attacked and anyone having to shoot them, but I'm sure it'll happen. I personally am on carnivore, just starting back up, and highly treasure this Steak and Butter Gal's leadership.

My energy level, mental clarity and focus is off the charts and I feel and weigh the same as when I was 29 yrs old. It’s incredible. I’m also off all meds. I know it’s hard to stay on carnivore, but I am 90% carnivore (I drink a fatty coffee with heavy cream and butter, sometimes have avocado, nuts, or a little non starchy veg with my meat) and I feel amazing. You can do it too. Take care and good luck!!😊

Diabetes runs in my family. Skinny and eats "healthy" with lots of veggies, low carb and minimal meats, yet their diabetes keeps progressing. I also got diabetes eating this way. 4 years ago, I went keto and reversed it but fell off the wagon because the macro counting became too much and my sweet tooth never went away. Now carnivore for 11 weeks. Reversed diabetes again in 9 weeks, and all my other issues disappeared that keto didn't! Here's a list of what I've healed in less than 11 weeks 👇 Type ll diabetes Decreasing menstrual cycles PMS Anxiety/panick disorder Depression Inattentive ADHD Back/joint pain Early osteoarthritis from hypermobility Bloat/swelling Acne Rosacea Seborrheic dermatitis Eczema Fatigue Brain fog Constant hunger Itchy ears Hives Keratosis pilaris (almost gone) I used to struggle waking up in the mornings no matter how much I slept. Now I go to sleep at any time, even 3am sometimes, and wake up at 8-9am feeling amazing. I slept with a back brace because my back pain was unbearable. No more prescription drugs, pain killers or supplements. People can be skeptical, but making statements and leaving these ignorant comments without having any experience in this WOE is just ridiculous.

Nothing else I’ve tried has worked and my dr gave up trying to find a solution. I still have issues sometimes because my body hasn’t healed completely yet BUT I DONT fear eating anymore. She simply replied "i don't smell anything". I know since going carnivore, the #2 situation was literally like pulling a reverse Uno card cause before carnivore, the house was cleared out. For me, now former T2 diabetic, I can assure anyone who thinks this way of eating is misinformation, it is not. Because it is high fat, high protein, fat coats the bowel and provides a smooth digestive tract for what little waste is expressed in the form of poop. I only poop 2-3 times per week with very little mass involved. I am 60. I have zero constipation; virtually zero gas; have stopped farting; and have no bloat. All of my friends, family and doctors notice and comment on my changes, and several have begun following my lead and reporting positive results. I poop on average about once per week, sometimes twice. It's fast, easy and clean and it sinks right to the bottom of the bowl. No floaties. Prior to starting the diet I had blood work done and was high on Hematocrit, low on MCHC and a tad high on Cholesterol. I had another blood work done just last week and EVERYTHING is in NORMAL range. Me 67. I started out keto about eight years ago, over the last couple of years I’ve gone close to 90% carnivore depending on family stuff. My lipid panel is stellar. Two weeks ago I met up with an old cycling partner to ride up Mount Diablo, I had four eggs with ghee before I left my house for the 2 hour drive to his place. An hours later we started the ride I kept pace with him, 20 years my younger. He had his bananas and power bars, etc. My water bottles were filled with vital proteins collagen powder, and a tablespoon of MCT oil. Barely finished the first bottle by the time we got to the top. No sugar crash, no bonking, no none of that stuff and this is just one of many examples that I experience on ultra low-carb carnivore diet. I’m able to ride 60-70 miles once conditioned without any trouble at all. The body adapts. Ketones will supply more energy than glucose when exercising.

I used to wake up often to go to the bathroom. I fixed it by getting the water to go into my cells by adding salt. I put a pinch or 2 of salt into each glass of water or hot stock drink I have. I have a large glass of water with salt, anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour before bed every night. I never get up in the evening anymore.

@@truthmatters8241 I haven't, but I highly doubt that's the issue. I can somewhat reliably trigger it by increasing fat intake. Trouble is that the trigger point is too low, if I decrease fats to the point where I dont have the issue I don't get enough fats in. I’m about 3 months into carnivore (3 weeks on lion diet; healing from 10+ year restrictive/binge high carb, plant, and sugar diet). For me, regular carnivore was leaving me constipated (no movements for 5-6 days) and in alot of pain and my stomach felt distended. Switching to the Lion diet with generous helpings of beef tallow in every meal (can’t have dairy 🥲) has given me regular movements again (yay!), but way smaller sizes. Thank you SO much for your vulnerability and dedication to helping share what your experience has taught you.

I absolutely LOVE the carnivore lifestyle! From birth to 71 years young I spent HOURS at a time, two or three times a week, trying to poop, hated the need to go, and couldn't. Every toilet I used, I plugged, every one of them. Yes, even the ones that were advertised as being plug-free. (That was a total waste of money.) Now I'm fiber-free, and it does slide out in seconds... Heck, like a dog, I don't need toilet paper. No more skid marks, or wondering if I got it all. Back when I was married, I had to go during an evening out with my wife and spend over two hours on the pot, needless to say, she was very upset...

Bella there are so many brainwashed people that refuse to think outside the box unfortunately,, Here's what I learned;; everyone is different you should listen to your OWN body always, what works for me is not a guarantee it will work for someone else. I also fell into the "healthy vegan trap" on and off for years. I too had MAJOR stomach issues, painful ulcers, bloating and I was defecating 3 times a DAY. I read somewhere a few years ago when I first started Carnivore (since I too was afraid I wasn't defecating daily since we are brainwashed to think that way) that when you're on a Carnivore diet you wont defecate as much because you are eating "high dense nutrient food", you only defecate what your body does not need. For me as long as I eat a high fat diet I have zero problems in the bathroom. Like you I eat fatty cuts of meat, lots of butter, some electrolyte water, and that's what works for MY body. People really NEED to mind their own business and stop the harassment. You truly are helping people, myself included. Most of the people here are adults and have the choice to do whatever they want to their bodies,, if they choose or not choose to follow your advice that's on them. You're not forcing anything on anyone. You are just giving your feedback on what works for you! There is NO harm in that. Keep it up love!

Here’s a thought: carnivore is high nutrition, low waste. (Anthropology, yes carnivore is how we got here). Plant foods are survival foods. When the animals weren’t around, when hunting trips were unsuccessful, when meat was scarce, we turned to plants for substance. Our gut biome was so robust back in the pre agricultural day that we could handle the bolus of fiber. Our gut bacteria made it into ketones. I don’t know for sure, but if one is not fat adapted, one’s biome isn’t ether. Just a hypothesis. As for pooping, our bodies, and biome,( same same) are well equipped to deal with carnivore. And it’s only since we discovered agriculture that we turned to mostly corn beans and squash, (high calorie plants), for the majority of calories. Our modern mind has a hard time thinking that it was otherwise.

I'm on my day6 of fasting, there is still ( a runny) number2 coming. I'm still new to carnivore(2 months), but combining omad fasting with carnivore I have lost 18kg already - about 20-25kg more to go. I did cheat 2x until now with carbs and sweets (social event), but otherwise I do stick to it pretty close. Feel good, and at my age of 40 cannot believe why I haven't tried this until now. I have been battling overweight majority of my adult life, I have a horrible sugar craving all the time. Since I started I barely look at sweets and haven't had any sugary drinks or sugar cravings, finally I see something that can work for a very long time. I will aim for a flexivore longterm, carnivore/keto at home and flexible on eating when I'm out ( no more than 1-2x a month ). Noticed wasting lot less food since doing carnivore and also somehow cheaper?

I am 74 years old. Five years ago I started on the ketogenic diet and I lost 80 pounds. After a lifetime of yo-yo dieting and feeling obese most of the time I am finally at a weight that makes me feel good in all respects. Basically, I am now carnivore. I agree with you I probably poop twice a week. Keep posting your wonderful videos. They help people like me. Those that send you the hate mail are never going to try this kind of a diet. Let them be miserable eating all of those carb filled meals.

Went from keto, to Ketovore, and now I’m carnivore lifestyle over the last 12 months. My movements have changed over the last year since I started this. I also do OMAD for the most part with a some variety once in a while. With no exaggeration, my movements come typically once every seven days(sometimes twice in a 12 hour period which I think is just finishing what I started earlier) No bloating, no painful gut, no huge movements, like she said, slide out easy, not smelly, not a mess, etc. I was concerned about the infrequency, but no longer. I actually love it. Not wasting a lot of time and energy on the toilet. All is good here
