Walters was a hell of a player, he was on fire at stoke and could have had his pick of top english and european clubs. Something obviously happened as he hints at in the interview, you dont have that level of talent and end up at stoke city no disrespect. I remember the republic playing France, it was Walters not zidane who lit up the stadium that night let me tell you. Hope he does bring out a book, it will be one hell of a story.

One of the most industrious footballers I've ever seen. Proper worked for his premier league chance. Didn't have anything like the talent of some premier league "mega stars" but had far more of an impact due to his hard work.

Keane didn’t cover himself in glory with his jibe at Walter’s crying in an interview. Sure Walter’s had just lost his son/brother/wife, which Keane would full well have known. Keane strikes me amongst being a born winner as a bit of a sociopath as well and probably got a side to him that isn’t all that pleasant.
