Yeah that's the culture there for sure. You can show as much leg in very short minis or shorts but the top must be conservative.

I can understand him not wanting her to show too much cleavage if she's dating him. It's just being respectful tbh, and while we may have the "right" to wear what we want, it doesn't mean we can't learn to compromise when in a relationship. After all, relationships are about give and take - no one should put themselves above the other. However, I do have a problem with the constant texting - it's not only exhausting and distracting but it can be rude too. You're infringing on your partner's personal space, not to mention distracting them from work, school, or whatever they may be doing. Checking up to see if your partner is cheating or meeting with someone of the opposite sex is insecure, possessive, and a little obsessive if you ask me. It's too much. Either you're secure in yourself and your relationship or you're not. If you're not maybe you need to spend some time alone and learn to love who you are before connecting with someone.
