Ok... we get saddled with a repetitive expression of our art. I am not an artist. But!!! I faked it in corporate America. Clearly, I emotionally resonate to art. Today, your "hole in the wall punch" creation was immensely resonate with my technical industrial S.T.E.M. career background. At 70 now, I am at the height of embracing my nature... some folks call it Neurodivergent. Fine. Just use my age, please, to know almost everything you said today was wonderfully affirming and ahead of the mainstream in perceptions of living a full life, especially the bits about needing contact. My current career feeds my need for solitude and interaction beautifully. I looked at your website... I need money to buy a few items. I'll be working on that. My music is the analogue to your drawing and youtube content. Awesome contributions to us all Peter! Yes, I want to do different music than what I do now for pay. I am engaging a teacher after 66 years of playing by ear. So.... you see my sense of appreciation for your patience. I will always persevere such a worthwhile journey. You could probably nowadays set up a gaming studio in a lighthouse and get Starlink Internet but you still have to have electricity. But if it did have electricity you could interact with people on the internet from there every day. And you might be able to turn your drawings into video game environments and start making video games with some of your drawing stuff in the games.

I believe in you Peter, you can draw anything you want. I also appreciate the CNN jacket review. Very useful. Wearing a nice tie or walking fast are also good options.

Hey Peter, not two of your drawings are the same. They have the same style, and it's your style, wonderful and enormously attractive (to me at least). The ocean is your unconscious, and your drawings are the waves that move ahead unaware, rippling teasingly through our subconscious, and then crashing onto the rocks of our consciousness. That consciousness thinks "what just happened? I've never seen anything like it, and I don't have the slightest idea what it means... BUT I RECOGNIZE IT". You have a unique style, man. YOUR style. I'm sure you know how many gazillions wannabe artists work so hard hoping their personal style will ultimately crop up, strong and from then on easy, the ultimate reward. Some try to establish a style beforehand, defining the perimeter and the rules, but usually that method is driven mostly by a need for recognition (nothing wrong with that) and/or money (nothing wrong here either. It's the needs for MEGA-UNIVERSAL-FAME-AND-ADORATION and "BILLGATES+JEFFBEZOS+ELONMUSK) x100" fortune that are wrong.) But the real art doesn't come from a plan, it comes from the soul. After the urge comes the work. Some are blessed with a mysterious gift. Lighthouse keeper? YES! I've thought about it probably once a month for more than fifty years. With a cat as companion (all that fish!)

I've been in hospital lately, and watched this vid while there. It really helped to shake the confinement blues. I was without paper or pen and it was very depressing. This brought a smile, so thank you very much. I also watched an older vid of you walking in the woods that I found very helpful! Keep up the good work. 🥰

At Race Rocks lighthouse on Vancouver Island there are volunteers that go for a week or so to give the regular keeper a break. But apparently it’s kind of boring. You have to clean the poop off the solar panels but sometimes an elephant seal will be in the way. Also incredibly noisy with all the seals and sea lions barking all day and all night.

There are lighthouses for sale by various government agencies including the US. The price is usually $1. The flip side is that you have to sign a contract that you will maintain the lighthouse in original condition. Often these lighthouses need millions of dollars of repair. But if you ever won the lottery there could be some potential there. I use to spend a lot of time along the Kalifornia coast where you could hear and feel the waves crashing against the rocks. I never slept better in my life. . .

Hullo Peter, I enjoyed this drawing and I find that some of your work is in a similar vein, yet your drawings are quite unique and different! If I may suggest an alternative? Why not just go outside, perhaps to a local lighthouse, and draw what you see! This would give you a very different starting point if nothing else. You might even try using a travel watercolor palette and just do some "urban" sketching! Just go easy on yourself and do not get hung up on what others are commenting. Now go and enjoy your drawing/painting or any artistic creation!

Oh, that's absolutely the same feeling with my drawing, even though from far away they look completely different. But the feeling of painting the same old stuff over and over again is internally depreciatory.😢

Have you considered being an audiobook narrator? I believe you could help sell a TON of audiobooks with your narration! I know you have read from books in previous videos, but I'm thinking of a new series... Peter draws alongside him reading books. You get a DUAL PLEASURE. Watching him draw AND listening to books. Thoughts??

Peter you are an awesome content creator, you have skills and practice in your bag of tools. You have always something to say. You can find whatever style you want, just try over and over, change and draw out of your preconstructed in series packages. As a side note, when you switched to the drawing from the lighthouse fantasy it felt like a fetishization of the art

Maybe try doing a multi colored drawing and you have to have at least 3 colors, you must overlap in 3- 5 areas and you switch colors after # of minutes. you seem like a quick draw so maybe every 10-15 min? or whatever works for you
