Hihihi everyone! This past January I took on the project of finding a new way to display my magical girl wand collection. I documented it and because the final product got a lot of praise on my socials, I thought it’d be fun to show you all the process, and how you can make one yourself! 🌟 I hope you enjoy my little tutorial ^^ 🪄

There is something poetic about transforming a stand designed to hold weapons into a something to hold wands that spread love and peace. Also, HeartCatch is best Precure, so really appreciating the Flower Tact in a proper place of honor

I've been struggling to learn how to do cohesive themes for rooms (space, Halloween) without it looking like an assortment of decorations scattered around, and this video is great inspiration for ways to make things that fit the desired aesthetic. This stand looks so adorable!

This is tempting, I've been meaning to get stands for my wands for years now and this seems like a feasible diy project for me?? Also. The ham ham games ost surprised me for a sec, I have my gba turned off next to me (with Ham Ham Games in the cartridge slot) legit thought I switched it on and forgot asfgjklhds

I was too the actual activity of spray painting was not what I expected it to be (ex. me just swinging the stand pieces around in this vid while wet paint drips on the cardboard LOL) but now I think I can conquer it next time!!!

aaah it came out super cute!! congrats!! I would only like to advise ya on using a particulate mask instead of a medical one when spray painting on a ventilated area or exterior as a safety precaution!

Yes! I noticed it last time, you really did an awesome job with it! Now I would've definitively lightly sanded everything, paint the whole piece white, tape off + trash bags all necessary areas, sealed the tape edges with either white or a primer, and then do the pink. But every process is different ^^ I would add felt pads on the bottom to not scratch the desk tho

Thank you! :') Hahah yeah I figured priming with white would be another way to do it but I went with what seemed easier at first! It went as well as it could've gone for my first time spray painting I think!

Guess I'm in luck. My Kira Kira Rod arrived today, and I'm currently displying in on top of the Sailor Jupiter and Venus Glitter Glamur Boxes. Tho I have no space for a sword holder right now, if I reorganize or if I get access to more space I'l definatly use this idea ❤ (Side note: if anyone happnes to have a Sailor Jupiter Glitter glamour that can't wait to kiss the floor at the speed of light like mine, just put a coin under her stand and you'll solve the problem)

OMG It's such a cute display, I really needed one as I'm sure the back of my wands are tired of laying on the wall ^^" I would like to ask, do you think the kururu poron would fit on the stand, or the head might be too heavy for the structure ?

It's funny you ask because I've thought about this one a lot (the Kururu Poron is likely the next wand I'll be getting!) I think it could manage at the top but it wouldn't be secure. It'd probably be the bottom of the wand fitting in the stand's slots while the top of the wand just rests atop them. I see that being a hazard so I wouldn't recommend sadly 🥲

Girl you could have just sprayed the white parts first and then taped of those to spray the pink. Would have saved you the harder tape job 😂

That song is the first ending of Hugtto Precure :) I don't have a public playlist, but here I'm pretty sure I was listening to Essential Precure on Apple Music!
