I live in Oklahoma and I have been bitten SOOO many times by ticks I’m sometimes surprised I haven’t caught something tick borne. I had a friend, 59 years old, healthy as a horse, who contracted ehrlichia and died. Doctors need to understand that people who live in rural areas should be tested for more than just Lyme disease. So great you’re doing better!

Not being heard and having to advocate so hard for yourself while feeling so sick, is traumatic. Not being heard is an awful experience to go through. I am glad you are feeling better. We have wondered where and what you have been up too. We will pray you just keep getting better and never have this experience again.

I personally think you are correct in your assessment of it being tick related. Thank you for telling your story even though it was hard for you…someone out here is going to hear it and become more aware of what a tick bite can really cause. We live on five acres in middle Georgia and the ticks this year are extremely terrible. I’m so thankful you are finally feeling better 🤍

After a trip to Colorado several years back, I got really sick - high fever (103-104), chills, headache, aches and my PCP sent me to the ED and I was admitted for suspected Tick Fever. I have never been that sick, so I definitely know how you felt! The hospital doctor thought it was a UTI, because the labs showed I had one, so he put me on IV antibiotics for that. After 2 days of that, I still had a fever and it would not go down. They had also ordered a Tick Panel, but it had to be sent off and was going to take a week to get back. FINALLY, he started me on Doxycycline IV, which is the med that they give for Tick Fever, and within 12 hours, my fever was gone. The tick panel came back as negative, but the Infectious Disease Dr. that I saw in the hospital, said that about 50% of all people that have Tick Fever, do not test positive on the Tick Panel. There are literally 100s of different ticks out there that can cause illness, and they can't test for all of them. I am so glad that you are feeling better! I bet you did have a Tick-Borne illness, it sure sounds like it!

Three of us were denied Tick Borne Disease care in CO. We had to go to Cali after 28 doctors. TBD is very tricky, horrible and can come back later. A negative test does not mean you dont have it.. just that the body hasn't created antibodies. Need to find a "Lyme Literate Doctor".

There's a reason healthcare is called "practice." It's so hard to get a diagnosis! Often times testing for illness is a matter of exclusion. I've been struggling with health issues too, and it's really tough when you don't get answers. I hope you feel better soon. I'm sure you're already tested for it, but hormone imbalances can cause those issues. Many people have mentioned lyme disease, but I had similar (not exactly the same) symptoms caused by ovarian cysts and hypothyroidism. Surgery and meds later, I'm feeling much better, but not fixed yet.

I hope you are still feeling better. I believe you need months of doxy. I have chronic Lyme now. A whole summer went by waiting to get in to see a naturopath. The CDC test came back false negative. My pcp said it was highly unlikely that I caught Lyme where we live. I just looked at her like she was nuts. The naturopath sent my tests to Igenex lab in Ca. I had a strong positive on Lyme, anaplasmosis, bartonella and I had reactivated EBV. I was sick as a dog! That was in 2015. Don’t listen to our sick care system. The naturopath sucked us dry of tens of thousands of dollars. We are in our sixties so…that ain’t good! I’ve never been the same. Haven’t been able to work for eight years. Couldn’t get on disability even though I tried five times, twice with a lawyer. I don’t know if you’ll even see this since it’s been out a while. I hope so. Please, if it starts to come back go see a LLD (Lyme literate doctor. ) The regular medical community hasn’t a clue when it comes to tick borne illness. God bless.

Not sure if you've tried/heard of this, but a commenter on another video said that taking whole leaf stevia with doxy really helped her - something about the stevia keeping the Lyme-bacteria from hiding from the medication (or something like that). Might be worth looking into. Best wishes 🙏

This was me until a week ago. It lasted a month. Woke up every night drenched in sweat, stiff neck, fever up to 105, food tasted gross especially salty and savory things. Lost 12 Lb. I finally got antibiotics after 3 weeks of suffering and it fixed me. There are online fish med stores that sell antibiotics "for fish" in pill form at the same dose as human made in the same factory. Listening to your story, its like you're narrating the past month of my life. I'll keep several z-paks and clindamycin on hand from here on out. Day 2 on the antibiotic and my fever was gone day 3 I felt human again.

There is a test called a "tick panel" you might consider.== REQUEST all of your test results and review them (I once was told I was negative for Lyme, but test was actually positive). ==Two different Lyne testes. I now always request Western Blot, as Lyme Titer seems worthless to me. The blot can also confirm past illness, depending on which bands are positive.

Going through medical things, especially when you don't feel you're being listened to or cared for by medical professionals is so disheartening! I also had a medical episode in July and am still gaining strength back. The only thing that has actually helped me is working with a functional medicine specialist. If you google that for your area you may find one as they are gaining in popularity in the natural field. If you wind up with further symptoms after you're done with your antibiotics I would give that a shot! My doctor helped me even without me paying him for the first couple weeks and was even texting me to make sure I was okay. It helps a lot to have someone really care about your health! Praying that you fully recover and that you have no more symptoms! Amen ❤

Oh my lady! I am so sorry this happened to you without an explanation. If I may I would like to offer some things that I have found to be true: If we look at causitive factors then we are just a bunch of cells with the interstitial places around them, we have blood to feed and lymph to remove wastes, but when we absorb chemistry that is acidic and non electrical it creates a cationic environment; acidic and inflammatory. Nothing moves in this state. And so we start to see the suppression of cell function and evertually the breaking down of them. Our bodies require a high energetic alkaline source which is our fruits and our berries. The fruits that are astringent will be more helpful; grapes, sweet navel oranges, grapefruit, ripe-picked lemons; hydrating and astringent. Yes they have acids but they also have twice as many electrons as vegetable matter. We want to bring back homeostasis into the interstitial fluids and we want the body to eliminate cellular wastes again. We can clean out and rebuild. We are not stuck. 💜

I know I am going to sound like a conspriacy theorist, but I have had a similar journey to what you're describing. Mine started back in 2011 though, and I went 6 years undiagnosed. My symptoms weren't as bad up front, but I still struggled with issues that no one else counted as legitamite for those 6 years. What I have learned is that there is a lot of evidence pointing toward Lyme disease being a man-made disease. It was first discovered in Lyme, CT which has plum island just off the shore. Plum Island was used as a biological warfare research lab during and after the cold war. Part of the reason for doing that stuff on an island was to keep it isolated, but it is close enough to Lyme, CT that deer often travel back and forth between the two locations, allowing for a tick that was infected on Plum Island to escape to Lyme, CT. The government has also expirimented with tick-borne illnesses in the past, so this isn't unheard of. Look up the lone star tick. The reason that matters is because Lyme disease isn't taught in the medical field. They claim that if you take a test and it is negative, then you don't have it. In reality, it can often take some time for the antibodies to show up in your system after the bite, so an immediate test is often a false negative. They also claim that Lyme is a temporary disease that can be completely treated with two weeks of Doxycycline. Again, many people, myself included, experience symptoms from chronic lyme. And if you ever say "chronic lyme" to a doctor, they dismiss you as if you're crazy. The common theory is that the government suppresses proper research and teaching on Lyme disease because it was their oopsie and they don't want people to find out. My reccomendation is to find a homeopathic doctor that specializes in tick-borne illnesses. They can do tests for all of the tick borne illnesses and make sure that it is being managed well if it has turned into a chronic illness. Sorry to hear about your July though. I hope this info can help some!

You're probably not going to see this because it's been a bit since the video was posted, but I've had Lyme disease for YEARS. Fuck fact, lyme doesn't always show up on the regular blood tests. In fact, very often it doesn't. In my case my Lyme hides in my muscles and brain and causes lots of problems. If you continue to have problems, I HIGHLY suggest Invictus Clinic in Arkansas. I've been to many many doctors and they are the best. My internal medicine doctor at the Mayo clinic told me she wanted me to see a psychiatrist when I couldn't keep food down. I had gastroparesis. I have a whole lot of stories like that spanning two decades. When I'm sent home from the ER six times in a year with a "flu like virus" I don't think it's the flu 😅. But Invictus clinic pulled me back from the brink. They're PHENOMENAL.

Hey Tiffany - new follower here (on Insta & YT) 👋I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time & making the effort to get on camera and give voice to your story & experience over this past month. I spent quite a few years navigating the underbelly of the cancer "care" system, and it was exhausting (and scary) to do my own research and show up as the most reliable advocate for my own health. It still blows my mind how "doing your own research" is generally frowned upon, or that literally everything/anything outside of what the "experts" diagnose and recommend is labelled as conspiracy - it takes a TON of courage and an unbelievable amount of resilience to fight for patient autonomy! I am so glad you are feeling some relief (my favourite human experience for sure) and I hope you continue to share your healing journey with us. You’re describing my life of chronic Lyme, identically (right down to every symptom, weight loss and spinal tap, etc), 13 years undiagnosed with neurological Lyme, because doctors kept saying everything is coming back fine so it’s just anxiety. Which it wasn’t, I was not an anxious person then. My medical records from then now give me anxiety from the trauma of it. The general Lyme test is not accurate. Over 50% false negatives. Please see a Lyme literate doctor and get the correct testing for Lyme and co-infections. If it’s Lyme, 2 weeks antibiotics is not enough, you need at least a month, I would hate for you to relapse. I’m so sorry you’ve experienced this too. Being that you got on antibiotics early, I hope you have a full recovery.

I had such a similar experience! My doctor here in rural Texas told me that I was completely fine and "anxiety" was causing all the issues. I ended up going to my mom's naturopath in Seattle and she told me about a second Lyme Disease test that can detect much older cases (like if you were bitten a few years ago and didn't have symptoms) of Lyme and other tick diseases. She explained that sometimes Lyme can lie dormant for a few years and it won't show up on the standard exam, BUT doctors very rarely give out that second exam because of issues with insurance companies. Fortunately/Unfortunately, my insurance didn't work out of state, so I was able to pay cash to get the test done and it turned out that I have Chronic Lyme Disease! I really wish doctors weren't so dismissive of women's pain. I'm sending all the good vibes your way!

@@TealStoneHomestead Since I found out about it such a long time after I initially got infected, it's something that I'll always live with. Thankfully I was able to treat it enough to the point that it's manageable, but I've definitely had to make some lifestyle changes to accommodate it. I'm not usually into supplements and all of that, but CBD is a lifesaver! I literally can't walk if I go a few days without it. If you're still having pain, I highly suggest it!

I was diagnosed with 2 different tick born diseases in 2019. I didn't really have the head and neck issues. I seriously thought that i had a severe case of the flu. Thankfully my awesome nurse practitioner LISTENED to me and was concerned for me. Come to find out there had been several people coming in with tick born illnesses that year. The nurse that was working there at the time literally thought that i was being a big guy thats a pansy, till she personally got the results from the tests. It took me a long time to recover, but there were seriously days i thought that i was losing my mind because it was hard to explain what was going on. But praise the Lord for a good doctor and prayer team because it was a rough summer. Prayers for complete healing for you as well!

This might be a bit late, but from what I'm aware of, the antibodies that would show on a Lyme disease test can take several weeks to develop, which could be why you tested negative at the time. It could also have been STARI - which has the same kind of bulls-eye rash. Regardless, I'm thankful you're doing well 🙏 And am so sorry to hear that you went so long without relief and a diagnosis. I pray whatever it was is resolved and stays gone 🙏 If you're interested, Dr. Berg on KZfaq has been a wonderful information/self-help resource for my family when we hit roadblocks with our own doctors. Ici en France nous avons les mêmes problèmes les médecins ne veulent pas nous écouter. Vous avez sûrement raison les tiques sont très mauvaises et les effets de leurs piqûres sont trop méconnus de la médecine. Bon courage je vous embrasse.

Could this be tularemia? I read that its associated with rabbits. And I read that its supposed to present differently if you get it from cutting yourself or breathing it in versus eating an infected rabbit. Some of the symptoms you describe sound somewhat similar to it, muscle aches etc.

Girl, I feel like you were telling my life story. I've had chronic Lyme issues since I was 12. I'm in my late 30's. July is always the worst time of year for me. I cried listening to your story. Everything, EVERYTHING, you are describing is what I had or still deal with. I had this same series of events happen right when I got engaged to my husband. (4th time having Lyme or relapse) I think I went to 5 different specialist dr's before going back to my pc doctor and his nurse noticed my Lyme levels were off on my blood test, from there I went to a Infectious disease specialist who specializes in Lyme patients. I don't want to scare you or cause anymore anxiety but if you can find one of those kinds of doctors near you, think about going to them. It infuriates me so much this sickness is STILL just swept under the rug. I know you don't know me, but if you ever want to chat or ask questions, it would be my pleasure. Big hugs and love. PS so good to see your face.

Thank you so much 🧡 I hope you have been able to manage it. I am still opting for several holistic treatments to follow up now that I’m through with the doxy. I have high hopes! And you are right. It’s insane how the medical community doesn’t know about tick-borne illness. Very strange and sad 😞

I'm so sorry you went through that, but I will say functional medicine doctors care a lot more about people than regular dr who see you as just a number and don't listen and throw meds at you smh, functional medicine dr get down to the root cause and help you get back on track with what you actually NEED lol, I've been diagnosed with systemic lupus recently and I'm glad I went to someone who actually wanted to help.

I know that is a tricky subject for some. What type of ivermectin? Topical, SC, oral?

@@TealStoneHomestead we have pills, 3 milligrams each pill, we get it from our vet store, we even bought goats as it started to be released only on recipe, the dose for covid was 4 pills in the first day and 4 in the second followed by the normal treatment with antibiotics and vitamins... But preventive, we get 6 milligrams and get out among people or at the first signs of infection... If you got vaccinated, I would say you need a complete dose every two months... to allow the immune system to recover and be able to solve also other infections inside the body... otherwise, it gets overwhelmed... but don't quote me on this, you are on your own and maybe you will be able to find a friend among informed doctors... God bless!
