I went FULL SEND in the Jannarelly at Speedweek !

It was a privilege to be invited to drive the Jannarelly Design 1 in the Michelin Supercar Run at the one-off Goodwood Speedweek event. Easily the most intimidating thing I have done for KZfaq, surrounded by stunning supercars and famous drivers I had no choice but to go FULL SEND of the line and get permission after the run !

Props to the absolute legend smoking the tyres on that Rolls! The little Jannarelly was honestly the best vehicle there, IMO.

I am still confused. 77k subscribers with such brilliant, interesting and diverse content. I watch quite a lot of UK and US car you tubers who churn thru loads of cars with the same format and using exactly the same roads same presentation style and yet have 100k + subscribers! I was just wondering whether your audience appeal is for people too much like me, middle class petrol heads with a Shilling or two to indulge and dare I say it, mostly over 30 or beyond? ( I am 65 so there is an alert for starters) On content you deserve 100k+ subscribers so how do you get out to the young guns? Super brilliant Goodwood stuff BTW.👍👍👍👍😁

Thanks for this. It confuses me too 😂 You assumptions about my following are spot on. Very powerful when I talk to car manufacturers but maybe not so good at getting subscriber growth 😬 I’ll keep at it and hope to get to 100k soon 👍

The suit was worth it, the best impression of Marlon from the Perishers in years ;) There were some fantastic cars on the track, but it has to be said all the others could have been made any time after the 80s, while Stirling Moss would have looked right at home in the Jannarelly. Brilliant car!

Sir Pete what a freaking awesome video!!! Thank u so much for this view of festival of speed!! So happy for you to be able to do these things and share them with us!! My 4 year old son thinks your Spider-Man now lol. So many amazing cars their, just wow!! You Sir Pete are a legend! That mustang mach e is definitely growing on me! Sir Pete do u know if there’s any posters of the car you drove? I’d love to get one! I watched this well cooking steaks on the grill for Sunday dinner hope I didn’t over cook them as I could barely look away!

Hi Ped Looks like you have had a fun weekend. Guess the lap in the Jannarelly will be a memory to cherish for years to come. Reminds me of the times when asked to drive my Morgan Plus 8 at Classic Le Mans providing passenger rides for VIP guests over the lunchtime break on Saturday together with other classic car owners. No safety or pace car, one year managed three consecutive laps. Max speed on Mulsanne 125mph but the Morgan has aerodynamics of a brick.

I test drove it earlier this year. Great concept but I hated the gearbox, much too clunky for a small nimble car. Very hard to shift quickly.

To be in the paddock next to Vaughn gittin jnr, who's a regular on my favourite ever yt channel, (sorry pete).... cleetus McFarland was epic in itself, but to be surrounded by the other big names in the motorsport world must have been incredible... I literally lol'd when the rolls was the only car to smoke the tyres, probably the heaviest car there too!!

Hi pete, great video mate 👍. I'm just curious when you're sitting on the line waiting for the flag to drop with the clutch depressed, do you get your left leg bouncing? I always knew the adrenaline was flowing and I was ready to go when my left leg started to bounce 🤣🤣, perhaps it's just me. Looked like a great event even watching from home 😪. Still not sure what I think about the Jannarelly's design. it looks like a cross between an AC Cobra and a Caterham/Westfield. But it's that back end. It looks familiar, but I can't place where I've seen it before. Regardless. Looks and sounded like you had a hoot :-))... EDIT I'd like to have known a little bit more about that EV Ford that parked up next to you!!

I think it's so crap that McLaren owners feel a need to have an MCL reg plate. For years I've chuckled at, and ridiculed owners of BMW's and MGF's for doing exactly the same. I think cherished plates are great for the owners initials, I have one myself but to have one with the car make is pathetic.
