My wife is Spanish and this is where we went with the whole tribe of her family so that I could show them how the English eat. They were blown away; beef and horseradish, crackling, yorkshire pudding, all went down very well. My nephew and his girlfriend ate three whole roast dinners, the greedy bastards. The only niggle was that the waiter was English, but had obviously never been to a pub in England. I asked for English beer and he offered Carlsberg or Heineken. I pointed out that those were not English, I wanted bitter. He offered a Doombar, which I had no clue what it is. Turns out neither did he. I said FFS haven't you at least got a John Smiths? Oh yeah, he had John Smiths. The clue is in the name, FFS!

Glad you took my advice to go to the carvery lee,told you it was good.remember it starting up in an apartment block near where i lived in benalmadena,dont forget the crispy cod in fuengirola.

Glad you listened to my recommendation Lee. It’s in a league of its own. I didn’t see you have any pork crackling though which is always available. Also if you want more roasties or bigger piece of Yorkshire just state when they putting on your plate. They have no problem giving you as much as you like.

That did look amazing. I bought some potatoes today, I have some pork medallions and garden peas in the freezer and a new packet of Bisto gravy browning so you've inspired me to have a roast dinner this coming weekend. Just need to pop along to the village shop (three doors from my house) for some carrots tomorrow or Friday.

Been there loads, have stayed in Sol Timor over the road a few times, great place, nice walk down from Torremolinos with some good stop offs on the way.

Im loving the W124 Mercedes saloon parked at the front of the restaurant! Great video as always.

Carvery queen here. Best carveries one in a hotel in Kensington, another used to in a hotel near Oxford St although I love Toby's & other chains. Might have been the lighting the gravy looked a bit green. Bit of a concern same knife was used for meat most use a different knife for each meat,& the Yorkshire so contaminated for vegans.

Looks good value. Comedy classic: the walking sombrero at minute 1.00. Always a cold Melton Mowbray pie. Malaga is a very classy city. Looking forward to the ploughman's review.

Some folk say sad going to Spain & heading 4 a carvery but wow we love this place & go on numerous occasions when at Benal - madena lol I struggle with that as well ✌🏼 love this area & never tire of it . Keep going bk 🙏🏼 we do x

Who'd have thought it, Lee, a damn good carvery in Spain. I love a good carvery and this place was excellent and the food actually looked better than a Toby's. The meat looked tender, the yorkies looked great and it made a nice change to see it in a large form and cut off in portions. I always wonder about veggies and them being hard which you can't tell from looking, the spuds did look great though. You were certainly right in that this meal was tons better than your Sunday one. It would have to be a 10+ score for this one.

Your new buddy from Melton Mobray is funny :) Looks like an impressive place - nice art and surroundings. Now the food: Looking at the wines - epic and epic prices (for Spain).... superb cuts of meat... but the gravy looked a bit wrong, as in school dinner style... huge portions. I don't think I'd manage a full plate. But I am an old git. I think I personally would have slimmed it down to just meat and pots plus one veg. Too much confusion on the plate. You seemed to like the gravy despite what I said, so taking your word. And your joy is evident. So no complaints. Before you score, I'm going a 9. OK 9.5 as you mention you can eat and eat! Moist indeed :) Great value!

The Carvery is extremely good and one of the best places for English food on the Costa Del Sol my only gripe is the size of the plates, they are a bit on the small size and I know you can go up as often as you like but it means everything gets piled on top of one another and it becomes a bit of a mess much prefer to keep my food bits separate on the plate! Also best carvery in the world? not so sure about that either, years ago had a carvery at some posh hotel in London (Connuaght I think) and that was in another league but that costs a lot more!

There's only 2 Carvery's here in England that I like. That's the Toby Carvery in Knowle, Solihull near me, and a pub in Mablethorpe called The Beck, where we eat every year when on holiday. It's hard to find a good one anywhere else other than those 2. But yours looked outstanding mate. 10/10. I always go for beef and gammon and ask for extra fat and skin whilst serving lol.

I also think the Wigan Bar deserves credit as there is a considerable price difference and I know you did enjoy your dinner there. Fabulous videos Lee! Just bin to this place, the Mrs loved her carvery, i went for the fish n fries, mushy peas, wish i still had a bb gun, harder than the pellets. If you have the carvery. Not the frozen option.

Oh that carvery looked so so yummy i go to a pub with my son every other sunday and ive never had a nicer one the place is always very busy and the is usually a long queue for the carvery its so nice last week we went and the was a notice on the door only prebooked sorry no walking of the street and later on they let people walk in of the street that hadnt booked but just for a menu meal as thecarvery was running out of food 27:09

10/10 legend, think this and the lamb meal in the fancy restaurant in new York are the two best looking meals to date that you have reviewed 👍

There’s an amazing on in Cyprus , family run 5 meats on Sunday all can eat including meat
