I just want to tell you these coaching sessions are awesome, one of the best teachers out there. Explaining things in different ways, making difficult concepts very easy to understand. Also focusing on broad shen concept instead of very minute things, even though you analyse a specific situation is very nice.

You are so good at coaching, at the same time I see you don't let your pupils think about questions and let them answer sometimes, especially when teaching new concept. Just something to think about., I think they would benefit.

Really appreciate the advice on how to lead the dance when you're getting baited in! And if you were still wondering, I think that the word you were looking for on "take the lead" may have been "initiative." 10/10 content as always!

I believe it's really vital to emphasize that in order to fully understand the dance-analogy depends on knowledge/consciousness regarding enemy abilies/ranges/cooldowns/intentions. I use ARAMS to try out characters i haven't played, and even in the cases when I think I know how a certain champ works, you always learn something new when playing your matchup:) halauksia!

Whenever I try to protect someone with Shen W they immediately walk out of the zone and the ability is essentially wasted, so I try to use it selfishly whenever possible. Only when premade will I trust that my teammate will stay inside.

I play shen on mobile.. I use him solo and jg, my issue is people not knowing his ult or if they do all they see is a shield. I use him so aggressively and his ult mainly for aggressive plays. Love your shen content

The blade positioning was the thing that my overthinking mindset gave me when I used to play Shen at top all the time. I would, most of the tjme, never even use it to get a cs because I want them to try and get a minion but I deny with empowered Q and slow, but after seeing you use it to get minions, I thought it was a good idea to just use Q to make farming the wave faster, huh.

Before even watching just wanna say I love the idea of a dance cuz thatsbhow I catch people generally is I lead the in out movement in lane and when they think I'm gonna go back I feint then taunt. Works a lot. Granted I'm gold cuz I farm for shit and fight too much but the metaphor resonates

I feel like mid just has so much more agency than top this patch. Shen top already has more agency than most champs starting at level 6, but when you play mid you give yourself SO many more options to affect the rest of the map instead of being on an island for the first 10 minutes waiting to get ult, and hoping your team doesn't int and lose the game before you even get a chance to actually play. I've been taking Garen mid and he feels way better mid than top. Same problem, in top I'm just hoping and praying that I get matched against someone I can dominate so I can afford to roam and actually affect the rest of the map. When I play mid I'm free to roam bot almost any time and help them snowball, I can help jg invade, I can roam top if they need help... there's just so much more you can do mid that you can't do top.

The whole "not better reaction speed, better preparation" really is how you need to think about reacting in League. I don't play ranked, I mostly play arams, but if I had to place myself, I'm not great, probably mid gold at best. The chances of me flashing a Malphite ult on reaction is pretty low, but if I know I'm a target for it, I'm able to pay attention to Malphite's pathing and positioning, and I've been able to use that to use Flash, Zhonyas, Alpha Strike, spell shield, etc. with around an 80-90% consistency. Mental preparation and thinking about what an opponent has both keeps you from panicking and making an unhelpful reaction (say healing when you're 100% dead either way) and just reminds you that the option is there (how many times have you died with an opponent at 5% HP and you look down and see ignite off CD?). It's really just putting yourself in their position and wondering what they would do.

I don't agree with doing a long dash taunt to dodge the dagger in the trade around 4 minutes. I would rather take the aggressive route and short taunt just as the dagger lands, forcing her to stick around for longer and take more damage, especially with the large wave she's tanking. The damage you would take is the same as in the clip (less if you use W), but Kata would take a lot more and be forced to either recall or farm with only Q from there on. Though of course the most correct play would be as Petu pointed out first, to walk up and either deny Kata the cannon entirely or force her to E in without dealing damage to you, and then engage after that.

When I saw Shen for the first time I thought: ,,LOOK AT THIS SHITTY BULLSHIT NINJA WHO WALKS HIS PET SWORD HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA". I played my first game with him and he used his R - Stand United. He started teleporting and grunting. I ran to my dad when he was watching morbius and told him to come with me. WTF THIS SHIT IS SO FUNNY LOOK AT THIS HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA - both of us were laughing at him teleporting Mom came and asked what happened. We quickly used Shen, Shadow Dash E and ran away unspotted. Dad took a talisman from the gara5anf started grunting. He vanished into thin air like Shen. I asked him to use Teleport back so he could come home sooner. But the bright light from the use of R - Stand United was too bright. I woke up in a asylum, along with my dad. Hopefully we will get out soon and watch xPetu again

Shen mid is so much easier for my playstyle. In top lane, half the time, it feels like I can't use my ultimate or Yorick's going to take 3 towers and inhib, or Kayle/Gankplamk are going to get 10 farm and insta win the game
