It's always fascinating to me to hear racers talk about having to race JS7 he sure was something special.

Last to first at Budds Creek was impossible but he did it anyway. He's the only rider that I would pay good money just to watch him ride. Atlanta SX 2014 he came out for the first timed practice and set the fastest lap of that session on lap 3, which was his only heater lap of that session, and then immediately grabbed his mechanic and went back to the pits.

Tedesco's grit was outstanding. I could see it. I hoped he would have won more. Listening to this helps explain what he went through. Cool interview by him. I consider Tedesco one of the special riders of his era.

I’m a Tedesco fan now anybody that can admit James was better especially being one of his main competitors at the time has my support. Never seen a tedesco interview but he’s pretty cool

I was going to say I can think of a couple reasons why James Stewart probably stayed to himself.

Stewart was the fastest guy in the last 25 years in my opinion. However, there was some incredible stat where he had won every race he didn't crash in. He's was wreckers or checkers, fully committed. I was a Reed fan, and to be honest, Chad was a week in week out consistent guy more like a Dungey but with a little Barcia dogfight attitude. He had such a hard time beating James, and he had to do it with consistent performance. Tedesco was in much the same boat.

That was great, Can someone tell/remind me what happened to Bubba...I kinda remember near the end him not being able to get the blue bike to work??? something about him and a cop light in he truck??? and some kind of ephedra thing???? It does not seem possible that he could have lost his ability that quickly...Am I just wrong? I listen to his pod cast and like when he calls sx. Please help..Thanks

He got suspended from racing for an unapproved prescription for Adderall to help with his A.D.D/A.D.H.D, Honestly he was in his prime Ricky was gone Chad was riding okay and Poto wasnt on 450 yet. It ruined his chances of continuing his career, I consider his comeback after that suspension as a good bye year i think 2014? With all the racism and crap he dealt with im not suprised he would happily leave and not come back.

James was one of the fastest people I’ve seen on a dirtbike in my generation, and I was born in 1980 and I well seasoned in seeing fast riders just like Pastrana was fast growing up to the amateurs and when he got into the pros but when you’re that fast, sometimes you crash a lotwhich I’m not saying is OK by no means but those are too fast people on a motorcycle

I think it would have been way cooler if the real 7 would have disappeared from the sport from when he stopped racing. And I know Its just me, but I think would have retained the hype

I don’t quite agree. You have legends of the sport that tell us repeatedly that James was the fastest guy they have ever seen race a bike. The hype is perspective at this point..
