Hi everyone, long time no see! I've been very very busy and struggling quite a lot following moving house. This is a quick catch up, the next videos coming out will all be house projects starting in a couple of weeks.

I was just worrying, yes worrying, about you yesterday. So happy to see you back here and hear your voice. I look forward to your videos, past and future, regardless of their topic.

I'm so glad you're in and getting there on getting settled. Your videos weren't depressing they were being realistic and understandably frustrated. It's a big task to tackle when you have to rely on public transport but what a lovely spot you've got there! Look after yourself and take your time, just glad to know you're ok.

Nice place buddy ! I’m from Leeds myself (Middleton) but havn’t lived there for many years, I’m currently in northeast Northants. I’ve learnt a lot from your videos Ian, and I find this craft very therapeutic. I work in an environment where I deal with the worst of the worst, and have done for MANY years, and this can sometimes cause negativity and mental conflict. Crafting leather and woodworking helps me massively, so a big Thankyou for the content you put out mate. You havn’t gone into much detail about your illness, but I hope it’s something you can control, and it’s also clearly an emotional rollercoaster for you. Compounded by everything else such as your move, covid etc… it can’t have been easy to deal with. All I can say to you mate, Is stay strong, it’s not a fight you have to battle on your own, and if you need help or support, there’s plenty of us out here who don’t mind having our ears bent pal. Together… STRONG !! 💪

I have been a follower several years. It's rare I make comments. I'm sorry for the struggles you and your family have been and going through. It's my hope moving forward. Life can be rough at times. I hope you heal quickly. Seems like you have your plans and I look forward to seeing more projects. I'm a trained cobbler but I don't know everything. I'm just another craftsman like many others. I surf YT when I get the chance to see what tips this craftsman is doing today to help me on my projects. It keeps me creative. I appreciate your humility and your drive to share your talent with others. I wish I had the time, it not an option for me. To busy. Again thank you for sharing and will catch you on another video.

Really nice to hear from you again Ian, been a bit concerned. The earlier videos weren't depressing, rather they were honest updates from somebody I for one respect as a crafter and person. Having to rely on public transport is an issue I understand and it can be frustrating at times but given the current fuel situation I think a lot of folks may be in similar situations. Completely agree with your philosophy, there are indeed always people in worse situations than we are. Good neighbours make a really huge difference and is something I'm very gratefull for. Not sure if your old house was as rural as this one but I'm sure you're enjoying the nature all around you. Loved the little bit at the end with the robin and the cat 😊

Yes, it's been a very long time, but no worries, just happy you are well and getting back on your feet. Keeping busy is always good for ones mental health as well, been there. Great to see you back again

I'm permanently disabled and it's very hard to always stay positive. The best advice I've gotten and can give is that this bad day, this failed project, this hour of crying, or this time of self pity does not define what happens next. Learn to allow yourself those times and feelings, and to let them go and start anew. Appreciate, even be proud of, completing a chore or having a mostly normal day. It's OK and you deserve it.
