In this video I'm setting up my little home office from scratch and building an oak floating bay window desk for it (the desk build was the hard bit!). Spaces like this are more important than ever with increased working from home during and since COVID and I'm lucky to have somewhere set up like this which is comfortable and away from the rest of the house.
In my old house I used to sit in the corner of the lounge so this is a definite improvement for me! Once again this was all filmed many months ago...

I remember watching the video of you walking around talking about all the difficulties you were facing with getting this house. Seeing you remodel this room and make everything look so good made me smile. I’m happy for you. Thanks for sharing.

It's nice that the view in the Plymouth railway poster is essentially unchanged since that picture was painted, even the railings are the same colour.

Very impressive. Your attention to detail from being a leather artisan is showing through. I too like the steampunk condiut look. It's inspiring to see a project being done properly.

This is excellent for so many reasons. Your explanations for what you are doing at each step, and why. Little how -to tips that make big differences, the way you've put together the video, and your final look of the room. Well done Sir!

Nicely done. Looks like you've got room underneath to put a shallow drawer for pencils etc.

Great to see you back! Thanks for sharing some useful tips, especially the one about storing paint! We’re due to move soon, so that’s going to be especially useful!

What a pinched 'bay' with the skinny middle pane! Great to see you're settling in and setting up. That's my pet peeve too not removing sockets for painting, my house they just painted on the socket edges too

Funny thing is that seeing how fastidious you are in these videos makes me want to buy some leather good from you even more. The attention to detail in things that no one else will see, never mind notice if they do is impressive.
