I wish you would’ve included the original leaked storyline of SwSh before the games were official released. To summarize it, Leon was a fraud and all his matches were rigged, the Chairman was behind it all. It is why Piers doesn’t use dynamax in his gym, he defied the chairman’s rigged matches and the chairman spread rumors about him being a terrible person. It is why Marnie is trying to become champion and why team yell is backing her up, to oppose the chairman/ Leon/ Macro Cosmos. It is also why Hop originally becomes depressed mid-way through the story, he found out the truth about his fraud brother. It is also why Bede gets disowned by the chairman, Bede wanted to become champion and help the chairman in Leon’s place. It is also why Opal takes Bede under her wing, to train Bede up to succeed her and ultimately overthrow the Chairman. Also during SwSh development, it got leaked that there would be armored evolutions in gen 8, we didn’t get any. However we did get them in gen 9 in the form of Armarouge and Ceruledge.

This was my re-introduction to the franchise after years of not buying a Pokémon game (last was HGSS in 2009) ao I bought a switch and the game on the same day of release and got back home with the console after a long day of work. To enjoy a new adventure. Bot the best game ever but I like what it can offer for challenge runs. The dlc fixed some of the gripes. But GF can certainly do better.

People like to complain about the animations and I won’t lie they can sometimes be atrocious but it’s the reason why they say it’s bad that gets me angry, game freak isn’t lazy they are overworked with horrible crunch time

You know, Dexit didnt bother me as much as how mind numbingly easy this game was. And honestly, all they had to do was make the EXP share toggleable instead of mandatory. I HATE the exp share. Ruined all challenge. Made ev training more annoying. Also, BRING BACK MEGAS

Scalding hot take here (yeah right lol) but Masuda and TPC are full of shyte. Pokemon sells no matter what, but to blatantly lie and insult the customer by implying that the underpowered handheld from 2011 was capable of holding 800+ different pokemon types (even if they got lazy and cut the nat dex entries) is somehow more capable than the underpowered handheld from 2017 when they're using the exact same models and barely updated textures is asinine. It's definitely not because they can charge one and a half times for a half finished game and then sell the other half finished dlc for the price of what the previous gens cost for a full game, right? I'm still salty. It will never go back to what it was because it'll sell, and apparently sell better than ever for lower effort and more greed. SwSh had banging music and gave us many awesome bug types along with dragapult, but I can't bring myself to like it

I think of the more recent gens, SwSh have been my favorites. The massive gyms, the crowd, really good mons, dynamax, it was just so fun to me. I'm playing SV now and it feels like a step back...

All those unused tracks are pretty good. The bata themes are much better than what we got in the end and probably would have made the game so much more serious and better.
