This is the worst “iceberg” I’ve ever seen. I had to stop because everything you say is a theory and YOUR thoughts. Also your tip stuff isn’t all that “widely known” starting with Professor Ivy and theories was a horrible start. Judging by the name of your channel, you should be an expert iceberg builder. Facts facts facts is the name of the game. Stop putting your own narrative into every section. Just state the facts. “I think” makes it so that it’s your thought and not the fact.

7:16 I have a theory that the Slowpoke Tail item in G/S/C (which serves zero use in the game) was intended to be the evolution item for Shellder to evolve into Taaban but it probably got cut for the whole idea behind it being too dark. One, your mutilating a Slowpoke of it's tail, and two your also tricking Shellder into devouring the tail and evolving into Taaban. Yeah, I can see why GF decided to cut that content early on.

What are you talking about? Yes, we have those pokemon fusions, but venustoise predates them all for atleast 15 years. So if you are saying venustoise gave the inspiration for fused pokemon, I think it really wasn't, because everyone can come up with the idea of fusing two pokemon.

That clip connected to the first movie is absolutely nothing important. It was stated in an interview with Takeshi Shudo that when making an animated movie, its not as common for there to be fully animated scenes that get cut. They typically get cut during storyboarding or they get put into the movie because of how long it takes to actually animate them. Why go through all of the work animating a scene if you're not sure you'll keep it, and why cut a scene when you've already put so much time and work into animating it? That's not to say it doesn't happen, its just not as common for an animated movie to have deleted scenes as it is for a live action movie. But they do need trailers before they finish making the movie, so sometimes they'll just quickly animate scenes as promotional material for trailers. Stuff that can be done without the script or storyboards finished, that, compared to the rest of the movie, don't take as much time to make. This was said in response to the many scenes in that trailer that weren't in the movie, scenes like Ash and Pikachu running from some sort of explosion or a portrait shot of Mewtwo, face half covered in shadow with random lab equipment in the background. The trailer is full of such scenes, making it quite possible that the stuff that looks like Miranda and Misty with a little girl was the same sort of thing. There's no real story that happens with them, it just shows them playing with Pikachu a bit and walking hand in hand. But beyond that, what else is there to suggest that it was not supposed to be an older Misty with her daughter (her's and Ash's, according to most people that think they know for certain)? Well, for one, Miranda doesn't look any older, even if Misty does look a bit older. There's no dialog in the scene, the closest being that the third anime ending theme in Japan, Fantasy in my Pocket, plays in the background throughout the trailer. Which brings up the next point, the fact that Miranda's Japanese VA, Sachiko Kobayashi, sang that very song, among a few others. And singing Fantasy in my Pocket alongside her was Juri Ihata, who was only 10 at the time... And Misty's Japanese VA, Mayumi Iizuka, seems to have been the one that did the voiceover at the end of the trailer saying when the movie would be released. She is also a singer and sang some songs in the series, but as she didn't sing Fantasy in my Pocket, that's irrelevant to the topic. But there's one possible answer. They had Kobayashi and Ihata in via the background music and called Iizuka in to say when the movie would be available and were making promotional scenes, stuff unrelated to the story or movie itself and just made to attract interest, so why not include a scene of the three of them playing? Besides, if it's aupposed to be Misty and her daughter, why is Miranda there? A character that, prior to that scene, nobody had ever seen before, that would not be introduced until that movie, shown in the trailer hinting at a supposed ending scene with Misty and her daughter? It makes no sense for Miranda to be there for the claimed meaning of the scene. Then there's the more theory-specific point. The most prevalent claims that its supposed to be a grown up Misty with her's and Ash's daughter claim that the original idea was for the movie to finish off Pokemon as a whole, saying that it was done before they decided they would do the second generation of games and was scrapped when that changed. Which is complete BS since they hinted at gen 2 with the very first episode of the show and were initially intended to release in 1997, the year prior to the trailer's first airing. Even if you argue the anime series was what would end, or st least Ash's story, and not Pokemon as a whole, there are flaws with the claim, namely the timing of the trailer airing in the midst of the Electric Soldier Porygon hiatus. The trailer says "this July" and has a message stating the movie refrains from "extreme scenes" to calm worries after Electric Soldier Porygon. The incident happened in December 1997, and the show returned April 1998, with the movie releasing July 1998. And clearly the movie is in early enough development that they didn't have enough scenes from the actual movie to fill out the trailer and seemingly didn't even have the ending song for the movie done yet, since Fantasy in my Pocket isn't in the final movie and debuted as the ending theme with Electric Soldier Porygon. Even by their original schedule, the timing lines up weird. The hiatus set them back about 2-3 months, with the latest confirmed change being that episode 53 was scheduled to release May 5, 1998 but instead released July 9, 1998, ending up the final episode before the first movie premiered. If we extrapolate from there, assuming the anime had the same progression instead of rushing to the end faster than they finished the season, Ash would have only been facing Blaine when the movie aired, which lines up with an interview saying the first series was planned to last a year and a half (a year and a half from the original airing in April 1997 gives October 1998, and the original series finished January 1999, which accounts for the 2-3 month delay caused by the hiatus, with some room for other potential delays or a slight lengthening of original plans) but it is really early for them to wrap things up with a movie, and yet the timing of the trailer would suggest they were far enough into production they should have known if they were finishing up with the series as a whole or even just with Ash. The timing for everything just doesn't make sense, especially with the hiatus they ended up taking.

And if that still isn't enough evidence, if the horrible scheduling it would require paired with an interview saying they wouldn't have done that giving a vague possible explanation as well as external information giving a more detailed potential explanation all while pointing out holes in the notion based solely on the clip itself doesn't all together already disprove the idea of the clip showing an adult Misty with her daughter, specifically the daughter she was supposed to have with Ash, then I only have one last piece of evidence disproving it. Technically this evidence is disputed, but I fond the counter evidence to be... Lacking in support. What evidence is this? A Q&A in 2019, where Kunihiko Yuyama, the director of the first Pokemon movie, and I believe every other Pokemon movie as well, was asked about this old mobie trailer showing what appears to be an older Misty and why it was scrapped, to which he responded saying that although it resembles Misty, it is not Misty, but understands why people would make that mistake. Now, why is this evidence disputed? Because people claiming to have been there in person insist Mr Yuyama was mistaken about what scene the question was referring to. Specifically, one person says the translator had to ask the person to repeat their question, which apparently didn't give a lot of context, and the reply seemed vague and like they were out of time. She then claims the original question didn't specify that the scene came from a trailer, let alone the first trailer of the first movie, just saying it was a scene of "an older Misty and a little girl", insisting the whole thing must have been misunderstood because of the lack of detail with them and others believing that he was instead thinking about two recurring background characters from Lucario and the Mystery of Mew and later movies. Why? Because Mr Yuyama gestured the idea of a ponytail when saying the character's hair resembled Misty's and Rica Matsumoto, the VA for Ash in Japan whom was also at the Q&A, chimed in to say there are a lot of beautiful ladies in the series, so it would be easy to get confused. And since the little girl in the trailer doesn't have hair that resembles Misty's, he must have been talking about someone else. I personally dispute all of that. I will admit that I was not there, but even without considering the possibility the person mentioning these flaws was lying about being there, there are still issues with their claims. I can only find one source for the questions and answers, and I'm not sure their source, but they list the question as being "What's with that old Movie 1 trailer featuring what seems to be adult Misty? Why was it scrapped?"... Which contradicts the claim the asker didn't even specify it was from a trailer, let alone a trailer for the first movie. Even if that isn't word for word what eas asked, it doesn't make sense for the reported question to specify a trailer for the first movie if the actual question just said "that scene with an older Misty and a little girl." Next, the reported reply was "Mr. Yuyama says the girl in the trailer isn't Kasumi but concedes that the hair is pretty similar and so he can see how people could make that mistake. Ms. Matsumoto added that there are so many girls in Pokémon that it's easy to mix them up sometimes." That would have to be pretty far off of what was said to not really answer the question. I mean, the question directly asks about what looks like an older Misty and he directly says "she looks like Misty but she isn't." I don't get the claimed interpretation of that referring to the little girl, the supposed daughter, and not the one that looks like an older version of Misty. Then there's the characters they think he was referring too, a little girl with orangish-brown pigtails and an older woman with brown hair done up. They look nothing like Misty and completely miss the whole "an older Misty" aspect. All in all, there is a massive difference between the reported question and answer and what this person claims was actually said. And as far as I can find, there is only one source for either side. And while there is the consideration for them asking about a trailer from over 20 years ago and the potential for confusion or mistakes on the part of the translator, the denial claim just doesn't make sense. Both versions have the person asking about a scene with an older Misty and a younger girl, whether he specified where the scene came from or not, but the denial claim insists that, despite that, the response was referring to the younger girl, whom doesn't look like Misty, instead of the older one that does look like Misty, and thus must have been thinking of two characters from a different scene, neither of which look at all like Misty? One claim is a straightforward answer saying that it isn't Misty, disproving claims of the scene proving Ash was supposed to end up with Misty. The other sounds more like someone refusing to accept the answer so badly they'd rather make massive stretches and reaches with no evidence that require Yuyama and the translator to be incredibly confused about the term "older Misty" So there you go, several bits of evidence suggesting that scene is... Completely meaningless. And anyone claiming it portrays an older Mister with her and Ash's daughter is stuck in their own little fantasy.
