I use mine as a home based, grid-down back up refrigeration/freezer tool and generally like it. I've heard and read from others that sometimes ice will form on the door seal area and happened to mine just a bit the first time I turned it on. maybe it had some built up condensation ? after letting it air out ,thereafter it pretty much went away.

I’d love to hear more about your power source, Solar setup, timeframes with the new iceco, alternate fridge options, etc. The Gladiator has brought a lot of us truck owners finally in to the Jeep world where we’ve wanted to be but couldn’t afford a truck and a wrangler, and like me we’re new to the overland experience. Your videos are always great with details and specifics so I trust your assessments. Side note, I also ride motorcycles(Harley cruiser) and I’m looking at the idea now with the Gladiator at toy hauler and Adventure bike route. The ability to tow a toy hauler with my Gladiator and an adventure bike then jeep or ride from a camping home base seems really appealing. With a lightweight rack and tent option e we could camp, ride, jeep, and overland all in one vacation. There is just nothing like the options the Gladiator offers like this. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the best setup. Toy hauler, bike, etc! Big fan, thanks for the great content! Maybe we can get a camping, riding, Jeeping, overlanding trip together one day! 😎👍

Does yours freeze up around the lid at all? Mine freezes around the brim of the lid (outside of the lid). My VL65 DZ and VL45 Pro do not.

Too heavy. Unusable for most people.
