i would just modify the handle so that it sticks up out the top and you just need to move it up and down to rotate the valve. don't know about the igniter, but that's honestly not that big of a deal since you only need to do that once.

Well I shamelessly luv this kit ... thank you so much for going down the rabbit hole for us and sharing as well.😊❤ im doing a van build so this really isn't a bad idea once we've figured out how that gas burner works (🤔 if you turned the gas holding plate upside down ...that would make the stove levers accessible as the legs wouldn't have to go down through ... idk it's so fabulous but there's no way either side of heaven I'd pay that much shipping... they're just being outright tossers/ thieves about that.🧐 looking forward to future vids on your chanel thanks again.

I really like the box and some of the accessories. I wonder if the box could be used as a Faraday Cage. Black aluminum looks so nice. It is too expensive for what it is though.
@mattsnowden973Ай бұрын
The gas stove looks like it would work better as a table setup instead of on the box, then you can get to the gas tape and igniter, maybe. Looks like a good idea for someone over landing.

Wow that is quite a setup. From the perspective of a non-camper, I would think it's a lot of trouble to set up, so I wouldn't want to use it unless I was keeping it in the same spot for several days nights in a row. Would be a lot of trouble for 1 nighters. If you're going somewhere to set up for a week or two, and this would stay in place after set up, AND you need all the gear because you dont' have any and are starting from scratch, it might be worth it. But I have to say it's pretty clever with all it's features! except that stove setup.

Honestly though some of the Korean camping channels do just that. Go away for one night with a massive oversized inflatable tent and all of this type of junk Andy showed off. I particularly like Kirin Camp, if you go to her channel then look back a few months to her videos setting up in snow storms, absolute nut case…

Oh my gosh, this was the best entertainment value in the whole world. You are literally me in man form. I did the exact same thing with a box that is wooden so basically I put it in my campervan and set it up so it supposed to be able to be taken down but who would ever take it down when she set it up? So basically lives opened up in my campervan and I spent more than you, but not a lot more , and I could’ve just had a built-in Camper kitchen😂

That stove thing is ridiculous. Will it go in upside down, flip the table over and then the controls for it would be on top? I don’t know but seems like for that kind of money they would have engineered it better!

Hi Andy. I kinda like it. Really looks good!! When you are at camp, you could rig up a cooler inside to hold your favorite cold snack,lol. Another stove option would also be great,one you could control without picking up the tray. Thanks for the video. Really loved it 😊😊😊😊😊 You ROCK!!!!!

Can you mount the stove and plate on the left or right side? Looks like the canterlever is the same size. You would have easy access to the gas control then
@NovaDebАй бұрын
Also, it looks like it would be better to turn the section with the stove around, so that it's towards the front for ease of cooking and using larger pans.
@jestergerАй бұрын
Hi Andy. That certainly looks like a durable kit. If you were a dedicated camper, such as yourself you would get many years of use out of that. So the cost is neither here nor there. Once you get it all packed away, is there still room left over for a bigger pot, frying pan or Dutch oven? Of course you could go a cheaper route and buy a suitable sized tool box and modify it to your needs.

Where's the Spiderweb thing from in the picture? This is obviously a Goth Camping Kitchen 😂 I guess the box and sides and hangers are kind of nice, you could store everything in it, and then just get the flat top and put your own stove on it. Kind of cool, but you could probably do the same with with a rubbermaid bin and some bungie cords. But it is very pretty.

In USA they’re called chuck boxes in reference to the cooking boxes in the chuck wagons. I have one, they’re very useful except if you’re camping in bear country like mostly I do, I find that they look too much like coolers and since bears know what’s in coolers I’m afraid they’d demolish it even though I’ve never put food in it. That’ll be an expensive discovery lol, but for desert camping, overlanding or Van living if you’re cooking out in the back of your car occasionally that’s perfect since they will take up all the space in the bear box leaving no place for the cooler. Thanks for the video.
