I have no words for this. Pure art. No measurements, blueprint, you went along as you go
@williams21872 жыл бұрын
@@RenTheWren the only measurements I think you even need here are a level and the string he uses to set the initial circle. I used to work on stone and brick and of course you’ve got schematics or blueprints, but this is a lot of eyeball work. For instance, the brick isn’t leveled going in when he finishes the first circle, but it doesn’t matter because it’s all getting covered with mortar anyway, meaning he can shape it how he wants and level it later. I could see measurements being needed for the pipes and some of the stuff near the end, but other than that all the brick and stonemasonry work looks like a lot of eyeballing, which just goes to show the dudes talent. I love seeing people make stuff out of concrete because I just got done working 3 years of stonemasonry myself, always fun to see what people can do with it

This designer outdoor water fountain is absolutely stunning! I'm amazed by the creativity and craftsmanship that went into creating this unique piece. The combination of cement and brick creates a rustic yet modern aesthetic that would complement any outdoor space beautifully. Plus, the addition of the aquarium feature adds an extra element of tranquility and visual interest. I can imagine spending hours relaxing by this fountain, enjoying the soothing sounds of flowing water and watching the fish swim peacefully. Truly a work of art - thanks for sharing this inspiring project!

Beautiful; Exquisite! Around here without an impenetrable cover the fish would last just until an otter found the pool. Next time you come to the pool... no fish! (Happened twice to me - left the cover grid loose. My fish were smaller - maybe those big ones wouldn't all go at one time.)
@sarahb.64752 жыл бұрын
You are a real craftsmen and an artist!! I also didn't know you could make cement shapes like that by pouring cement on a hill of soil! Very clever!!

This is some amazing work and the end product is beautiful. And they didn't think of a way to keep the power supply covered in all of that? Maybe next time.
@KevinCarlySpeaks2 жыл бұрын
@Anton Dales If every project went that well and with only that small type of criticism, this world would be as beautiful as the work we see here. I've watched many similar vids and this is a common issue. Tuck the wires under this rock, or whatever. It would differentiate the final solution if an intelligent means was provided for presenting the power supply, control boards, or what have you.
@KevinCarlySpeaks2 жыл бұрын
@Anton Dales Well, my perspective and commentary is more from the eyes of a client requesting the service. My skill with building such things might be measured in negative space. So my first response might include stuff like a nearby heated barcalounger with a built in fridge stocked with an endless supply of burritos. If I had to do this myself, I might have planned for a trench with waterproof pipes through which I could route the wires in a way that I could easily identify what's what in case I need to do maintenance. Then perhaps present a type of locking junction box behind the feature. Where my real world background is closer to network engineering rather than the engineering skill shown here, my response is basically boiled down to cable management. Of course, if you saw my home office workspace, I'd have to scramble for a different explanation. :D

The banana stem and leaves helps the concrete pond become inhabitable for a new fish otherwise they will die and treatment for the cement’s smell and chemicals in it esp for the new build one…i guess they often use the banana stem coz it’s easy to ferment in the water in a short period of time.
