Except in SAH - can be used in lobar/parenchymal haemorrhage- also GTN/Labetalol first choice in AHA /European Stroke guidelines.

It’s for all conditions which has the potential to raise ICPs. Please have a look again for GTN.

@@TheICUChannelSo sir we can give 10-20 mg IV stat and then 1-10 mg/hr for maintenance according to bp with infusion dilution of 1mg/ml ? Also do I shift to 10 mg par oral 6 hrly after 24 hrs or shifting to oral nifedipine still preferred ?!

But hydralazine cause vasodilatation and thus increase the intracranial pressure thats why they avoid it sir
