Just bought the iD14, and the entire time I was watching this video I just had this big smile. I've used m-audio, tascam, focusrite, zoom, and SSL, and a slew of other apps designed to interface with your preamps, and this one just dunks SO hard on all of them. I often feel like the other companies are just jumping through the annoying "software hoop" they have to put interfaces on the market, but you guys have put SO much thought into making it clean, streamlined, feature packed, and intuitive. Clearly your software team CARES about what they're making. Keep it going! And by that I mean, pay them whatever they need to keep developing this product! Also, setup and installation was breezy as all heck. Haven't hooked up my adat yet, but actually looking forward to it and plan to be delivering materials to clients on this thing TODAY.

My unit was just delivered to me yesterday. Before my purchase, I was considering the Audient ID14 MKII, Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen, M-Audio 192|6 Air and Arturia Minifuse 2. After putting much attention on the reviews here in KZfaq and the internet, I ended up buying the Audient. I'm into music production lately and this is my first audio interface.😊😊

A mic mute function for the ID button would be nice. Also a simple EQ and maybe compressor in the software like Tascam has on some of their devices would be quite useful for live streaming and other stuff that aren't meant to be edited.

I have heard so many musicians wishing for an 8 preamp interface. Please consider coming out with one. I've been super impressed with my id14 and every time Audient announces something new I am expecting it, and then y'all release something most people don't really need imo. But I'll probably go ahead and buy someone else's version ie. Universal Audio. Hooking up ADAT so I can get some more Audient preamps just adds complexity to something other companies have offered solutions.

Having EQ, Compressor, Reverb would be great. I had the old Motu Track 16 Cuemix and was a bit saddened when i saw this didnt have reverb

Do the settings save onboard? For example if I were to enable 10 db gain boost and then save and close the software would the boost still be applied?

I didn't see informations about it in the manual 2) Is the monitor control functions can be assignable to keyboard shortcut ? Fonction that allows for exemple to active the "ALT" pressing "Ctrl + Alt + A" 3) Which kind of affordable hardware do you advise in order to use both headphone outputs in the same time for two different people allowing them to ajust their listening volumes independently ? Can you please make a version of the interface smaller? For lower resolutions? Right now it's very bulky and big. I'd prefer something more slim to fit near other plugins or softwares on the same screen.

I love my mkii its an amazing interface for its value. Looks and sounds great. One thing that I have had strange pop up now though is the firmware (DSP) is now narrating a voice every time my curser hovers over a parameter like mute, solo, mic 1.. anything and a voice says it out loud through my monitors. It randomly appeared today and I'm not sure how to turn it off? any help with that would be awesome! Keep up the amazing quality Audient.

Is there a way to route mic 1 mono into stereo on windows sound? Or having 1 channel format in the advanced settings in windows sound. And also I would like to mention that the new version of the software corrupted my windows with BSOD after the failed installation. Happened twice too.

Is it possible to output the main mix to speakers 1+2 in stereo and speakers 3+4 in mono, simultaneously? If not could this be added? I have a subwoofer with stereo RCA inputs but only a single XLR input. Would be nice to connect it with a balanced cable.

Im using a blue yeti pro. There is no lighting up around the gain knobs, so i don't know whats going on there. Also, I have no idea how to monitor my audio. I'm plugging in through the headphone input but i'm clueless waht settings i need to make so that I can hear my mic audio. Recording is fine, but I'd like to make adjustments in real time.

Why did you remove the numerical display for the main volume and the separate headphone volume display from the classic view? Loving the Mk II but on the software side that's a downgrade. Don't have the option to switch skins either. Hoping an update will fix this.

Good morning, I want to connect 2 xlr to input 1 and 2, I want to put input 1 pan on the left and input 2 pan on the right, can the mixing interface be used without having recording software ? those 6 outputs are individual? I want to use the interface to listen to music in 5.1. That means i need to be able to create 6 individual outputs.

It would be great if you were able to do a firmware update where you could set input gain per channel on the device itself. I’m sure I’m not the only one that likes to sketch ideas without turning on the computer. I also use a Maschine + to get away from dealing with my Mac mini to sketch before importing into DAW. Having to switch on a PC just to record into hardware is a pain and a lot of us use these devices as line mixers as well. Is that even possible ? or something to consider in new projects. Even just a clipping light would do.

Great video .. My problem in summary. . Whenever I select an external source for TalkBack on my windows machine I've not been able to get sound from the windows USB or camera mic to go through the ID software . It remains silent ) On my windows 10 computer I'm able to select an external source ie (computer built in mic ) for TalkBack I see Daw return 6 change to a talk back channel but no sound input is registered by the ID software. The meter remains blank as I talk or tap the onboard laptop mic.. whenever the TalkBack is activated Windows {privacy settings} shows that the computer mic is in use by the ID software and if I go into the windows recording devices sound menu on my computer. I see the internal mic meter moving indicating that it is working... The sound just isnt making it through the ID software and the TalkBack channel.. I've updated all drivers and firmware but no success. This problem persists as long as an external source is selected for the TalkBack mic... Thanks.

I just want to know this,...Can this iD14mkii come with a simple EQ plugin for my mic? I want this strictly for my Voice Over work and nothing else and all I want is to be able to EQ the mic through the interface to get the sound I want BEFORE I start recording and then save it as a preset. Basically I'm asking is there at least one simple plugin that comes with this device that allows for voice EQ? I will be having one mic plugged in (my RE20) and I want to tweak it a bit through the Audient. No music, no instruments.

Can I combine two physical analogue inputs (mono) into one digital virtual input device (still mono) on my PC? (Windows, of course.) I'm using a Scarlett 2i2 right now and the software is so limited that I always run into the problem that other software won't recognize input 2 in mono mode. So I can't easily jack in my guitar and play something for friends, whilst keeping my microphone. I want an interface that allows me to do this on the fly, but there's zero information on this on any interface available at the moment.

Few questions, With only respecting to content creation and OBS recording + streaming, please ignore DAW use case. 1) Do the mics in mono mode appear as separate 1 and 2 mics as opposed to L & R, this is frustrating when you want to use 2 types of mics but want to have high level of control and only want to use 1 of them as a designated input. 2) Can you say, have your headphones in to hear playback for everything, software and Discord but have discord output as DAW 3+4 as per the video shown as the output, still come through the headphones but OBS can capture it as its own output without being mixed in with other software ( like background music in games ). So this way, I can configure OBS to record Game/software audio in a separate track and discord on a separate track yet still all output through the headphone/speaker output? If anyone is asking why I am interested in a device like this for streaming, its nice being able to switch between a normal mic and utilising a headset through the XLR input via the rode adapter and being able to use the same hardware to run everything.

Why do we need to sign in to ARC to use the software? After installing the latest driver software on my strictly off-line studio PC for my id22, I was supprized to see that the software requires you to sign in to ARC to finalize the installation, so I un-installed it and faced major problems trying to revert back to the previous software and driver, with stubborn registry files that would not delete in the normal way causing the problem. I have managed to sort this out, but the expetience has left me extremely wary of purchasing any "new" interfaces from yourselves. Why would you do such a thing?

Dang, this would be really cool, if it would actually open. It doesn't. Doesn't show up in the taskbar either, so don't tell me do that. Doesn't open when I open ASIO settings from my DAW either, just opens the totally useless "register product/claim offers/sign in" app that I've already registered my product to, claimed offers from, and signed into. You need to add a button within that app to go right into the mixer because I'm completely out of any control when it comes to my buffer size and input monitoring.

Please whoever tests one of these on Linux, report if you can access all the features or if you can't because of software. Thanks.
