Did not speed up. There's a mph in the left corner. Truck had 0 reasons to move, why did he even move? Secondly, he only started to indicate when cammer was really close. And you arent allowed to indicate or move lanes when it's not clear.

The car hauler is in the wrong because car haulers are never allowed in the left hand lane. The dashcam driver shouldn't have sped up, but they are not in the wrong

You use the indicators to.. well.. indicate you want to move lanes, so people can let you change lanes safely. It's the point of the little blinky lights on cars. Not from the US but would make sense if that's a common rule everywhere?

@@50Steaks68 Driver's going too fast for traffic conditions, not weather conditions. There's a jam, and the car in front covers everything in front, causing driver to make a huge mistake in dodging into a car he or she cannot see.

I don't know if a lawyer can help that one, given that they've scammed their own insurance company by not having a commercial policy for a commercial vehicle. The courts aren't too friendly when you do things like that.

If he has not got the right insurance, then he should not be driving. It is therefore his fault as he is illegally driving on a road he should not be on, if I was the other driver I’d sue him.

6:50 Cammer apparently lacks basic defensive driving skills. Why would you continue to pass a vehicle that just put on its signal? 10:33 I'm pretty sure the cammer went straight from a right turn only lane. The markings for the vehicles turning right would indicate that it a protected lane.

Looking at the intersection on Google Maps Street View, there's no right turn only sign hanging from the traffic light for the direction the cammer is traveling and there's no marking on the road indicating right turn only either. Cammer appears to be in the right here.

@@jhawkkw87 According to Google Earth there is a giant marking. Just look for Walgreens on Johnston Street and College Road. That one has the older style sign. The other one in town has the newer signage out front.

He wasn't using a turn signal, and the lane ahead of him was clear. Either way, he made an extremely dangerous manoeuvre that almost looked like he was trying to cause an accident. There's no justifying that.

@@rirkc If you lie about what you're doing with your vehicle during a claim, it's insurance fraud and could include a criminal charge (often at a felony level). Best to be honest, follow the rules, and pay the price for your decisions.

9:09 This happened to me around a switchback on a narrow cliff road often used for car commercials. Old guy was standing behind his car, his door open into the lane, looking for whales. When I told him how much of a risk he was taking, he looked at me as if I'd asked where his necktie was. "I'm ON VACATION!" he whined. I gave up and left.

There’s literally a right turn signal probably couldn’t see it but as stated my light was green and the cycle for the turning vehicles had finished meaning the right turn signal light was already red and yes the intersection is confusing idk if you can see the other light to the far right for the right turn lane.

It's automated bot spam. I got to one of these videos one week within 30 seconds of it going live, and all that was here were three of the porn bots. They likely auto-post on every video this channel posts within five or ten seconds of it going up.

Do either of you not realize he didn’t have his turn signal on? It’s the first thing you’re supposed to do when switching lanes. Didn’t see the truck do that. Sure the guy maybe could’ve backed off but the truck is immediately at fault for no signal and he’s a much worse driver than the cammer.

What the hell are you talking about? The left driver was not signalling and he had a clear lane ahead of him. The cammer had no reason to think he would suddenly change lanes. In general I prefer not to be right beside another car in case they do something stupid, but the cammer had no responsibility to make way for someone who wasn't even signalling a turn and had an entire clear lane ahead of him. That maniac also made an incredibly dangerous manoeuvre that would never have been okay in any circumstance.

@@TonboIV When someone is passing you in the passing lane, you should ALWAYS expect them to merge right after. It's very clear here that the cam car decided to speed up when they noticed they were being passed, just to be an ass. Obviously the brake check is egregious. But cammer is not practicing defensive driving, and that's also not good.

Normally, those in the roundabout have the right of way, but there is one Southern Ohio in which you have to yield to let other vehicles enter if you are already in the roundabout.

The second clip, i never expected to stumble upon a clip from my home town. I work less than 1000 feet from that roundabout. That being said. I can confirm that many people there struggle with roundabouts, especially middle age and elderly people.

To be fair, it seems that there are no Yield signs posted on the road entering to the right of the cammer (nor the one at the next exit). Maybe they are just not visible in the footage. Here in Europe *everyone* knows how roundabout work, they are everywhere. And every single one of them will be marked with Yield signs (and corresponding "shark teeth" on the road)

Hey, here's an idea: if you have the opportunity, when you catch a driver like these on your dashcam, (road raging, brake-checking, etc) try to read the license plate out loud, so it's verbally recorded, just in case it's too blurry to see. Obviously prioritize staying safe and not crashing, but if you can safely do it, it might help!

Glad someone called this out. Don't overdrive your visibility. If you can't avoid a stationary object as big as a car you are at fault and shouldn't be driving.

First clip in and the cammer thinks the driver in front is in the wrong how? 2 lanes merged in to one with a lower speed limit, he's not straddling both lanes and then brake checking you, he merged lanes like he should have then slowed down to the new speed limit. Then he brake checked you because you were driving aggressively up his rear, what do you expect!?

@00:10:02 Everyone remember even if your just running to do a bank deposit for the company you work for. You are Not covered by normal car insurance. You are using the car for commercial purposes. Delivering Pizza, Pet Products, etc. must notify your insurance you are using your personal car for business uses. We recently towed had a 2020 Mazda that had full coverage through Geico. However they were delivering pizzas. Not covered on the Total Loss.

4:30 Everybody going 72 mph on a wet, rainy highway is guilty of whatever accident they get into. ( See speedo data at bottom ) If your insurance company sees the dashcam video, they can legally deny any claim that happens.

My understanding with dash cams is the driver is much closer than it appears which leads me to believe that is what triggers the brake checker. Back off cammers, nobody likes to be tailgated.

6:56 instead of trying to speed up when someone is trying to merge with a turn signal on way before you are even that close to them you should have let them in front of you. That’s a you problem

In defense, how a roundabout works depends entirely on where you are. That is the major problem with them. For example: "What are the NJ set rules for driving into around and out of circles? There are not set rules for driving into, around and out of a traffic circle in New Jersey. Common sense and caution must prevail at all times." In other sources in New Jersey I have seen "local custom prevails" in regard to who yields to who.

i swear to god i hate roundabouts because people really don't know how they work. there's one right down the road from my place in a residential area right before a major street and people never yield even when i put my blinker on to indicate i'm going fully around to get to the next street thats at the end of it. Hell the road it leads to has 2 clearly visible "no turn on red" signs on the corner and directly under the stop light and mf will still turn even though you can't see whats to the left. Reason why those damn signs are there but nah, people will do whatever they like. Reason why i believe regardless of age, once you get your license you should have to retake your test again every few years cuz it's mostly people that aren't super old and senile that do this stuff on the roads

6:56 you're kind of the butt head here to be completely honest, you can see other vehicles merging at improper speed, he has a load and puts his blinker on in this frame, instead of being polite and spacing so he can move over without having to break with a load or gunning it so you can get out of his way. You just dilly dawdled in his blind spot asking to get hit. Does this mean the hauler is in the right? No. But there are always two parties in an accident and typically there is some fault to both, I am merely pointing out how you could avoid for other drivers bad habits in the future here. Save your truck and everyone else on insurance premiums.

@@mmoney3523 I don't where you got that information, please supply your support. But the reality is there is another vehicle merging onto the highway and that is the reason for the haulers move. He's towing about 5tons, slowing down and speeding up is a real emergency only situation for these guys all things considered.

6:57 Now i know what you're thinking. Yes, the car hauler would be at fault no matter what, which yes is true. Always check your blind spots. Yes, the cam driver had the right of way and doesn't have to let them over. But why not let them over? They did signal but somewhat late, and in reality, this could've been prevented. Car hauler is still at fault for any damage, but as a driver, it's best to assess what could happen and how you can prevent it. Both parties can better assess their surroundings but come on hauler.

11:03 - Slows down and makes a car pass them on the right and gets pissed when he gets intentionally cut off a bit. This crap is a common theme in these videos. People drive like asses and act all surprised when other drivers react, and then they post it online expecting us to agree with them.

@@Earthneedsado-over177 The "right move" would have been to actually change lanes into the right lane when he saw the guy coming up behind him. He had plenty of space between the trucks to pop into the travel lane, maintain speed, and then get back into the passing lane after the douche canoe in the honda blew by. Yeah, he was still passing things, but he stated that he "saw the guy coming" and decides to slow down? He was being an ass, not courteous as he would like you to believe.
