2:32 I don't understand why people take their sweet time passing through semi-trailers' blind spots or outright camp in them and then get upset when the truck driver doesn't see them.
@markadler89689 ай бұрын
Because the idea that they are doing something wrong never occurs to them. They are oblivious to their behavior/choices behind the wheel and think they are a good driver when nothing could be further from the truth. Excellent drivers take all of this into account when behind the wheel and adapt to the unpredictability and foolishness of the drivers around them.

The whole concept of …. that truck is absolutely NOT trying to slow down on an uphill that’s a 1/2 mile long makes no sense to these idiots. The speed limit out through there is 70mph. Frequent drivers through there do 85 and 90 mph. Semi’s are happy to be able to do 70 mph! So when some dumbass doesn’t move out of the way. Yes, they’re gong to cut you off! So.... There's this interesting phenomenon in psychology. When things happen as we are preconditioned or predisposed towards thinking, we completely ignore them, while experiences that run counter to our expectations will 'stick' in our brain more solidly. This tends to then make us think something is more or less prevalent, depending on what the thing is. Put another way, you notice the people with face tattooes being nice, because you are preconditioned (societally) to believe that tatted people are rude, violent, whatever. You also notice overtly religious people being rude and nasty for a similar reason.
