Puja Bordoloi ...dear, asamese preparations are very different from bengalese...and plz Dont say a word against illish...do u know ppl can go over a strike...fight wars for illish. An entire state can mourn throughout the year if they can't taste good illish during the season.there r literally addas( conversation) where Elders in the family talk about Older times when illish was tastier and more available...oh those tales...illish is not a fish but a sentiment we treasure.

Devi insults every culture in her videos, last time she said ghugni n luchi is better den chole n puri. okay to each it's own but why to use words such as 'oh pls' 'grow up' 'get over it' 'stop making it'???? dusro ko chota dikhane se koi bara nei ban jata. m n Assamese living in Bombay since 2016 n i have always Loved Bengali food n here i always look out for Bengali food not only because Assamese food is not widely available but also because Bengali food is super tasty... but some people should stop insulting others' cultures. other people also have sentiments, not only Bengalis. we make sour fish also with elephant apples, olives n starfruits along with tomatoes. yes preparation differs but still it's somewhat similar n m never going to insult non Assamese way of food like how Devi insults non Bengali food.

Syeda Danisha Ahmed . We don't make sour fish. And I don't find Debi parnas views on disagreement on food insulting. North Indian food is a craze not only in whole of India but overseas too. People swear by butter chicken and halwa poori and stuff. Most people in India do not even know that bengalese have a very rich heritage where food is concerned ( apart from everything else). Debi is just putting our food on the map. And have u had ghugni and luchi in Kolkata and chole and puri? Or Bangali sujir payes and north India suji halwa? If u have had it then then u wouldn't have even bothered to write the comment. And seriously if u r so oftended by Debiparna..then do not watch her video. U cannot change ppl but surely can change the channel.
