Looks like there was a road there sometime in the past, maybe not paved, but a passage way anyhow. Doing that kind of work would be fun and I would have pride with the end result just like that grader operator does.

So, that's why buses and trucks sink into big pits, when it rains. The road has no base layer of blasted stone and no gravel bed on top. It's just soil.

Nice job well done. If that was much of a hill, even though he graded it nicely, - in the wet it was probably great to go down, - (carefully), - but I bet when wet it would be murder to go up.
