To anyone seeing this person's comment and wondering whether you can achieve the same thing, remember that to get a great IELTS score, not only do you need to know things like essay structure and reading techniques, but you also need to actually be good at English too. It takes years of studying a language to become good at it. Maybe the person who wrote this comment grew up in an English speaking environment, or maybe they have been studying English intently for the past 10 years. Don't be fooled by overnight success stories! The video is for people who are already at a band 8.0 or 9.0 level of English who just need some exam help, not for people who are at a band 6.0 level of English who want to get a 7.5.

I've been living abroad for 9 years now and although I speak English every day, I listen and read in English, when I started doing the first mock tests I was amazed at how much I don't really know. And not because I don't have decent English, but because the exam requires you to show specific skills that you don't practice in everyday life. So, I am also very skeptical of such comments.

Hi Chris, thanks a lot i was able to score 7 overall. To everyone reading this, the only thing I did was watch some of his videos and take two mock tests for reading and listening. I was able to improve my listening from 5.5 to 7.5. I never had a day where I dedicated it to IELTS preparation, so if I can do it without any planned preparation and practice you can do it too. Plan and prepare, especially with this channel.

God bless you, I took my IELTS exam for the second time because mine got expired and I had like a week to study and I saw your video and thank God I have seen it, I needed to refresh my memory. I really loved that some things you said were unconventional especially the brainstorming thing, 5 years back this used to be the common method which I saw a complete waste of time but everyone was advising to do it. Just a bit of advice to you people, the exam is expensive so take your time in studying it especially Reading, you have to do many examples with a timer and this goes to all other sections and start with the weakest skill and go from there.
