As an IELTS tutor, I find your channel super helpful. I cannot stop questioning myself when telling my students to be patient during their exam preparation. It might not be true but I feel the whole industry is obsessed with ‘strategies’ and ‘quick tips’. I totally understand almost every candidate wants to get their ideal test result in a short amount of time but I personally believe that language acquisition is a lifelong journey. I really appreciate that you can point out a lot of misconceptions and genuinely share your teaching experience. Although you kind of mentioned that the algorithm might not prefer your channel/videos, thankfully, one of your videos appeared in my feed and I immediately clicked on it.

I swear I was very much stuck on 6 in writing and speaking and didn't know what to do at all. Then, just 3 days before my exam, I found your channel, and I watched around 2-3 videos about writing and speaking, I was so sad that I hadn't found this channel earlier. But I decided to make the most of it and so I watched all of the 5-day writing challenge in one day and speaking too. I was afraid that I would end up with a 6 in at least one of them. But I got L- 8.5, R- 7.5, W- 7, S- 6.5. All thanks to you. Keep up the great Work.

your speaking score also depend on examiner mood. there can be positive or negative result . however my examiner was quite good he gave me 7 in speaking although my speaking level is at not that level. i have made lot of grammar mistake in speaking. i have lots of friend who are quite good speaker but they also got 7 like me.

i just finished my speaking test yesterday while i wasn't ready because of the school pressure, and it turn out not so good because i loss my calm, so sad because i spent months on Chris channel to pratice (and no stupid tips/trick from any other channel). I couldn't afford any course or professional teacher to review my essay or speaking, but turned out my test (exclude speaking) was pretty good, my aim just need at least 6.5 so i think i can do it. Just want to say thank you for all the techniques, how to improve band point, how to keep it simple, the lesson you teach us (to review & accept mistakes then work on the mistakes) make me see proper ways to solve my other life problems. I’ve just finished the speaking test today. I think I did pretty well in part1&2, but couldn’t understand the last 2 questions from the interviewer in part 3 since she has a little bit of Middle East accent. even though after cue card examiner ask me question and i gave the answer very confidently even without understanding the question proper . its frequently happen with me even in my mock exam. although i have weakness but my fluency and confident is up to the mark . i think thats why i get this score in mock test i got 8 .

@@Ieltsadvantage today I got my result and it is overall 7 band I kind of messed up my writing because I was kind of nervous and my hand was shivering. I waste my so much time without doing anything due to my anxiety and in 10 minute I started my task 2 and I got 6 in writing The reason why I was nervous was because I didn’t practice well. I self prepare myself within 3 days. So after booking my exam date I went to holiday and yeah however I am so grateful for all your suggestion recommendations . Thank you

I faced a little trouble in the writing part where I lost track of time and spent about 30 minutes on the first part. Somehow, I managed to get back on track and finished the second part on time. Other than that, no issues at all.

Hey Chris, thank you for making such amazing content. I just got my results, I got an overall of 8 bands, 9 in reading, 8.5 in listening, and 7 in speaking and writing. I had 2 weeks or so to prepare and I only watched a couple of your videos, especially for the writing part, and practiced a lot.

Honestly speaking sir you open my eyes 🥹 around at 1 hour 47 minutes you won my heart , my exam will after 1 month at 5th march and I work hard to gain more bands in speaking module without memorising answers 😭🥺. I take pauses while speaking but I will try to overcome it , thank you so much sir 💝🥹

Chris, first of all thank you so much! I scored 8 bands overall, by just looking at your videos for 3-4 days, I am a lecturer so it wasnt a problem for me anyways but the tip and tricks were very useful which absolutely helped me score 8 bands. For people who are thinking if this guy is legit or not, 10000% I would recommend sticking to his channel. PLEASE DO NOT BE SCARED BY OTHER KZfaq CHANNELS SO CALLED "MOCK INTERVIEWS", unfortunately they underscore these interviews to scare the students into buying their courses. Unfortunate that people do this but this is true! JUST STICK TO CHRIS and work hard you can get it!

Today i gave my speaking test, i did my best. Surprisingly i do not felt anxiety during exam but my excitement was so much that i actually think less and speak more.....i felt my part 2 was not upto the mark because in it i just say what came in my mind, after exam i felt it may be better if i follow a flow pattern like a story but now it's over already and i can't do anything. But i still wish i get good score for my effort in which i did my best....let's see what's going to happen. Hope for best only🤞
