When it comes to your request sir, I have watched the video once again, and I am very sure that this essay could potentially take at least 8.0 band score. I have to admit that your organizational features are strong. I assure you sir that this essay would take at least 8 band score in each criteria or I suspect even higher but I am not sure, because I am not unfortunately in your level or an examiner. I have only 2 years of experience in academic writing. I hope that I have shared my notion as clear as possible, or at least as you expected. Sincerely, Azizbek

Hello! Thank you for your video. I'm currently preparing for my IELTS and after seeing many videos on the matter, I've noticed that a common suggestion is to create a very precise structure in your report. After the intro, it is in fact suggested to write a general overview over the main trends in the graph and only then to continue with the specific analysis. In this video I noticed that you did not include a general overview of all data but started right away with the analysis of each section. Can this approach lead to a high score as well? Is the "general overview" only a suggestion but not the rule?

That’s a good point - I think I split the overview between paragraph 2 and 3 because it was quite a long paragraph. I know that in terms of grammar and vocabulary this is band 9 - it sounds like an educated native speaker. I’ve done everything the question asked within the word limit. However, you’d need to check with the IELTs rules to be 100% certain there’s no special structure. 😀
