Bio: Ieva Bite ir klīniskā un veselības psiholoģe, kognitīvi biheiviorālās terapijas speciāliste, Latvijas Universitātes asociētā profesore. Strādājusi: Krīžu un konsultāciju centrā “Skalbes” (1999-2003), Rīgas Psihiatrijas un narkoloģijas centrā (1996-1999 un 2011-2014), SIA “Rumbas” klīniskā un veselības psihologa ar tālākizglītību psihoterapijā privātpraksē (2007-līdz šim laikam). Aktīvi darbojas vairākās biedrībās: Latvijas Klīnisko psihologu asociācija (valdes priekšsēdētāja), Latvijas Kognitīvi biheiviorālās terapijas asociācija un Baltijas Uzvedības analīzes asociācija (valdes locekle). Aktīvi veicinājusi psiholoģiskās palīdzības un psihoterapijas attīstību Latvijā; vada Kognitīvi biheiviorālās terapijas un Lietišķās uzvedības analīzes izglītības programmas.

Ieva Bite. Mental health care and its issues of concern in Latvia
Ieva Bite, psychologist associate professor at the University of Latvia, speaks at the international on-line conference “Psychedelics: the game-changer in mental health and medical science.” The conference organised by NGO “Veselīga Latvija” (Healthy Latvia) and cultural and humanities portal Arterritory.com/Spiriterritory.com took place on May 17, 2023 in Riga, Latvia
Bio: Ieva Bite is the clinical and health psychologist, specialist in cognitive behavioural therapy, and associate professor at the University of Latvia. She has worked at the "Skalbes" Crisis and Counseling Center (1999-2003), the Riga Psychiatry and Narcology Center (1996-1999; 2011-2014), and as a clinical and health psychologist with further training in psychotherapy at the SIA "Rumbas" private practice (2007-present). Bite is an active member of several associations: the Latvian Association of Clinical Psychologists (Chair of the Board), the Latvian Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and the Baltic Association of Behaviour Analysis (Member of the Board). She has actively contributed to the development of psychological support and psychotherapy in Latvia, and currently organises the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Applied Behaviour Analysis educational programmes in Latvia.
