@@BLACKSTA361 It really isn't overrated at all. It's one of the best recent shonen and _the_ best recent sports anime. The manga is also really good and so is the ending. Just because some other show is good doesn't mean another can't be.

I will say this. Berserk Golden Age arc isn't that bad despite the 3D CGI scenes. Mostly because it was more faithful to the manga than the 1997 anime. BUT the 1997 animation looks SOOOO much better.

In a show like attack on titan, I think using a lot of CGI was actually the right idea so it makes sense why people hate on those who hate on the CGI

I mean I don't follow online anime discourse but the CGI looked like shit and it literally always does. I understand that's the way the industry is going but I can't imagine anyone looking at that and saying it unironically looks good. JoJo Part 6 is currently being ruined by CG, as well as a lot of bad adaptational changes and some shitty backgrounds, and I keep seeing people saying it isn't that bad. Do people just not remember when anime looked good?

Black lagoon! One of the few times the dub is WAY better than the sub. It’s because the actress for Revy does such a good job! I cannot not recommend it enough and I rarely recommend the dub more than sub. Usually I leave that up to the person.

Yu yu Hakusho's dub is also far superior to its sub.

Like with me for example, I prefer dub because I want to understand the story more without needing to read subtitles and most character designs match to other languages not Japanese for example Goku who is high pitched in Japanese don't make sense because he's a muscular warrior like Vegeta, so prefer English dub much more

Yeah, subs is great when all you want to do is watch. Or if you were watching when that's all there is. But we're in the future. Dubs make it so you can actually do other stuff. The pause and rewind for epic fight sequence.

Also. One anime can have a bad dub, and another can have a good good. I feel people who hate dubs have never heard one, or only heard one over a decade ago, and refuse to change their mind. And another one is that there’s always one character that has a bad voice. But that’s not unique to dub, there’s annoying voices in sub too.

That and I can't watch the show and read the words at the same time if I can't hear the words. E.G. Watching a American TV show with subtitles and you can read them out of the corner of your eye, where as Subs I end up focusing on the words and can't look at the screen.

@@trews1 not exactly. people zeroed in on s4 because: 1-it wasn't in the trailer 2-it was something we used to always get it in 2D for 3 seasons unlike the colossal titan that was 2D foe only one or two episodes in season 1 and the rest was just cgi so we we're used to it 3-the wasn't shown in a lot of episodes before we literally only had 2 episodes focusing on shit cgi only the first was rod reiss episode and the second was armin v bert episode which still was 2D most of the time 4-and that's just my personal experience I read the manga and I was super excited to see warhammer v eren and eren v the attack on shiganshina in 2D because they were epic but I got over it

@@trews1 stop this nonsense man, the cgi in season 3 wasn't that bad at all, as i read, wit studio was requested to make the anime in only 6 months that was the reason as why they gave up on the anime and i think many other studios refused to take the anime till they came to mappa and they took the anime because they didn't give a sh*t about the animation and these stuff not because they care about the health of their animators or anything like that, it's always known that the animators are having hard time, so suddenly you think they will care about them in that season, so the main problem is that they didn't have enough time so they shouldn't have accepted to make the anime in that short period of time.

MANGA SPOILERS BELOW The current last high point is the Dabi reveal paying off. It's been sprint after sprint with no time for development. They even took away Shigaraki's spotlight and Horikoshi contradicted himself with AfO deciding he didn't want to let go and everything is actually AfO's fault despite little setup after he got punched back into Tartarus. I get wanting to not fall into the pacing and filler issues of shonen past (legend says to this day, they are still in Soul Society), though this pace is too much. The main protagonist and most prominent secondary protagonists are still first-years. Two years have passed in-universe. And they are staging the final battle now. This class will still have 2 years of school after that before becoming full-fledged pro heroes unless Japanese hero society decides they're ready now/they need to be ready now and cannot wait with shit having hit the fan. Horikoshi couldn't wait to get to the big finale, for whatever personal reasons he has. It's a shame this is shaping up to a major disappointment.
