while it is important to stay within your niche, i still find it important to tap in with other niches (ex: u only post drake type beats and once in a while post a meek mill type beat) to always expand ur audience

Interesting, i wonder though, by "type beat channel"? you mean making music and beats and just labeling them? Because i cant make just one genre, even less just one "type beat", i would rather commit suicide lol. I dont know how people can spend day in and day out making "hiphop", i make all sorts of music, dance, house, club, r&b oriented stuff. Its depressing just to think of having to only make "type beats". But, i guess thats what's "the thing" today. I guess ill make the music i like , make good music and ill see how it goes.. Would be cool to hear about other ways to be eclectic and still find some kind of working path, just not "type beats"...

Yeah a type beat channel like my channel here, where I post my beats as type beats. It's definitely a grind to produce one sound specifically like I touched on in the video, but some channels have been able to see success while still posting a wide range of beats. There's lots of other avenues you can pursue at the same time that aren't as monotonous and still very profitable that I can talk about as well 🤔

I’m with you. I listen to all types of music and my own music is very eclectic and doesn’t fit into any specific genre. So, I don’t know how making “type beats” will work for me.

Look into sync licensing your music if you plan of making multiple genres. Epidemic sounds, artlist, Envato, etc
