The 2018 Lasker~DeBakey Clinical Medical Research Award honors John (Iain) Glen for the discovery and development of propofol, a chemical whose rapid action and freedom from residual effects have made it the most widely used agent for induction of anesthesia in patients throughout the world.

@Haseeb Saqib hate propofol with a passion. They have to give me two shots versed ot Ativan, before the gas and propofol. Even I can't for long

actually yeah, it is the actual chemical compound is a clear solution propofol is pretty terribly soluable in water, so its dissolved in soybean oil and then made into a suspension using an emulsifier, which gives it its milky white colour
