In the devil's snare she relaxed , as that was the only way except daylaght and Ron is panicking. Also, Hermione grew up for 11 years as a Muggle, and is super smart. I think that makes up for her forgetting that she is a witch in the first book in her first time in the face of real danger.

Towards the end of Dumbledore’s memories of Tom Riddle, when Riddle asked again from a job the book says his face was deformed (from creating horocruxes). He made more horocruxes after that, making his face even more deformed. Him not having a nose was from the deformation.

He was the strategist, coming up with the ideas and plans, while Hermione and Harry were the executors of said plan.

I'd say even in the books, Hermione really does a lot of the work, for sure all the trio was important, and I see your point, but we really can't cut Hermione short. Without her Harry likely wouldn't have gotten passed the potion puzzle and he also could've been killed in his first quiditch match, Harry would've had no clue he was up against a basilisk in his second year, let alone what a basilisk was and that they're gaze could kill people so he likely would've died in the chamber, Sirius would've been killed by the dementors and Buckbeak would've been executed, she figured out Rita Skeeter was an animagus and stopped her, if I recall correctly, she still came up with the idea for Dumbledore's Army(although she didn't find the room of requirement, that was Dobby) as well as the coins for notifying them of the meetings, in her sixth year I admit she didn't do that much for Harry, but she was the only one who ended up getting her apparition license by the time of the 7th book, which was very essential in the deathly hallows, and even if Ron had gotten his apparition license, she was the one who packed everything and had a plan, so we really can't say she wasn't as essential in the books

For everyone who say Ron and Hermione does not belong together. Hermione kept going to Rons place during the summer. Without Harry present. This was something she did consistently.Obviously she saw something in Ron and vice versa. The books make this abundantly clear.
