The blue circle with a diagonal line (at 7:13) is an engineer's zero. All engineers are taught, in college, to always write their zeroes with a diagonal line through them because mistaking a zero for a letter O, in engineering, can be an expensive mistake during a project.

I mean... mathematically speaking many crimes happen, and this symbol seems to be popping up a lot of places. I don't think it's fair to say the symbol pops up around violent acts because.... Is it months before? Weeks before? The day after? It's in so many places that due to random chance a violent act will occur near a symbol given enough time. Unless there's a clear consistent pattern then I just don't buy it.

ok, so let me help you out with a theory. if you look at hobo symbols you will find a circle with a single line going through it from top left to bottom right, meaning good road to follow. the symbol you are discussing has two lines going from bottom left to top right maybe to delineate a bad/evil road to travel.

In many european countries this symbol represents "unrestricted" "end of restrictions" in the traffic code. For example if you have a "no overtaking" sign that after a few kilometres is followed by this sign, it means you are free to overtake.

If it sends you to an edgy page with a login then it’s most definitely an ARG. It’s not uncommon for ARGs to exploit the same methods spambots use to spread around, a good example of it is that “Hey peabrains, you teleport?” ARG from Tumblr, which appeared to be a regular spambot DMing users. Also the real life examples look painfully photoshopped. The symbol that showed up before the shooting isn’t even the correct one, the graffitti one is literally just a zero.

Obviously since they're using KZfaq as a recruiting space, the credentials you're supposed to enter are your KZfaq account credentials. This will likely compromise you're account and turn it into one of the recruiting bots. Encryption and redirects however will not prevent you from gaining the site's IP information and you can at least find where it's hosted and who owns the domain.

That blue one that showed up 2 weeks prior to a shooting didn’t look like the same symbol. I think it’s gang related as it looked like someone put a blue “no” 🚫 symbol above the gang tag, basically a negation of the tag . Saying this isn’t your turf. It’d make sense that a shooting would occur. The fact that the 🚫symbol is universally red, and they used blue instead , supports this too!

It is called a double null (in math) and states "nothing is happening and nothing will. The equation is less than or greater than zero at the same time. It is finite and infinite at once." I believe it is the reason the symbol leads to a dead login. (Nothing happens and nothing will.) It has been hinted at in many movies (Arrival, 2016). Some see it as the power of changing a sleeping mind to an awakened one. Others as a transformation of a dimensional thinking process evolving into another higher one. Some as a symbol of a mass cascade changing of consciousness. It was used in my advanced algebra class in the early 80's when I first used the double null symbol as a result solution to an algebraic string problem where there is no answer because the result is nothing is happening except a complete reset as the answer becomes the problem. Hence an infinite null = null, a double null state. A true double null solution hypothesis/problem answer.

With the question: "Would you like to join the legion?" and given the symbol, I'm theorizing it has something to do with Saturn or the worship of Saturn. Which was worshipped throughout history as well as present day. Though higher and more exclusive orders worship Jupiter, Saturn was considered a powerful god by ancient Roman theology. The term legion, which has both positive and negative connotations to it, is also a term widely ascribed to the Romans. There isnt enough time or space to elaborate further into this topic in a comment, but if anyone is interested, a little research in your down time can lead to some VERY interesting findings.

I know something about the circle and sticks logo. That little drawing used to be used on old, like, really old IQ tests where they would draw the circle with a divider and then the two lines with a ruler, then offer people 3 answers asking them if A. the top line is longer, B. the bottom line is longer or C. they are both the same. Base64 isn't an encryption standard, it's an encoding standard that makes text that contains special characters (like binary files) safe to be transferred over the internet. Anyone can decode a Base64 message, there are multiple online tools that can do it. Maybe what your friend meant to say is that it's encrypted with an encryption standard such as AES or RSA, and the whole thing is encoded using Base64...

Quite, the appearing when something bad happens can be fully explained by confirmation bias. If enough people are putting the symbol out there, and they stay in places long enough, there will eventually be a symbol near places where bad things happen. Someone posting "This was near the site where..." will make other look for the symbol "near" other bad events. And since "near" and "bad things" are generic enough, you'll always be able to draw line even if there is no actual connection between the two points.

But he in myth killed his father, and was so scared his children would kill him that he ate them all. His children were the gods - Zeus, Athena, Poseidon, Hades and a bunch more that don't come to mind. Saturn (Kronos) is one of the most powerful beings in greek myth, and is commonly associated with power and death.
