That's very true however, I've been single for 10 years and I'm getting tired of being alone. Heck, I am exhausted if being alone. All I do is work and go home to my 3 cats. My family is all in Europe, my son lives in VA and I'm in KY and I hate this place. I'm normally a very upbeat person but gosh, I'm just tired of not having a companion, a husband!!!!

@ Don, it’s kinda nice to know it’s not just us women who are the minority. lol. I never realized it’s hard for the men, too. It always seems there are more single women than men in the Church. I agree with you that it’s better to be single than with the wrong person. I have been waiting/praying for twenty years and will continue to do so before I would ever settle for the wrong person. I’ll die single if need be.

Dating in 2022 is extremely difficult especially as a believer. I always meet men who say they believe in God, but they don't live their life like it, at all. They still go out to clubs, get drunk and expect sex 🤦🏾‍♀️ so I've learned to stop trying to control my dating life and just give it to God 🙌🏾

Don't even focus on that. This is probably your season for being delivered from childhood trauma, and trauma that you have encountered in life as a whole. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Getting to really know who and what God is to and for you for yourself, and in turn getting to really know yourself, for the very first time. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. You don't know WHAT God is really trying to call you to. We are to make God our everything, and focus on doing HIS will above ALL things. And anything that He have for us. HE WILL bring to pass in HIS time, and in HIS way. IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH. AMEN.

@@princesswithinnerbeauty4407 LET GO OF THE LIST. Unless the Holy, Spirit have led you to go that route. If God have marriage in mind for you, and for you. Your GOD ordained spouse may look NOTHING like that list. God knows what you need, and have preordained EVERYTHING for your life. A man and woman is supposed to come together to do God's will and God's will ALONE. Yes. You may get to be intimate with them, have children (if that's what you want), have a home, or whatever the case maybe. But marriage is WAY bigger, deeper, and more then that. God bring a husband and wife together to do the will of their Father. Make sure that you are NOT idolizing a man, wedding, or marriage. Ask the Lord to search your heart, and take ANYTHING that's not like HIM out of it. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I pray your strength in the LORD, and that YOU choose to grow in GOD'S love, knowledge, strength, mercy, grace, compassion, faith, forgiveness, and passion. Bianca I feel your sentiments as a 53 year old single woman. These men want sex in the body of Christ. Most are not sanctified men, the church and homes (families) failed to develop boys/men due to sin. Mark we have faith otherwise many of us would have disobeyed God years ago and compromised. Caveat: I do not comment to be disrespectful. Scripture does not tell us to date; if applying a biblical (spiritual approach) Men's Support Recovery Groups are needed in the body of Christ in order that they can be healed in their souls (abuse, illicit activity, etc) and be mentored to cultivate a Godly lineage. Applies to females too.

As a man I recognize my need for the Lord, without Him I am no one, working on my areas and dying to myself and fleshy desires everyday. Renewing my mind, focused on growing both spiritually and in my career to be able to provide, protect and lead my future spouse and children. Don’t give up virtuous women, we are out here, fighting the good fight. Trust the Lord, His perfect timing and pray for your future husband. My prayer for my future wife is that she loves the Lord above all things and that when the time comes the Holy Spirit will confirm it to both of us, so that we may glorify Him and fulfill the purpose we were sent to this earth.

1: Submit to God and put more faith into his sovereignty. 2: Focus more on the solutions than the problem. 3: Don’t use a lack of godly men; for as an excuse to date godless men. 4: Make sure your view of biblical masculinity is accurate. 5: Be visible; and don’t use the truth, that “men should pursue,” as an excuse to hide away at home. 6: Focus on becoming the type of woman that a godly man wants to pursue. Question: Where do Godly men hang out, other than church?

Answering your question, they are everywhere else in the world. We know Christians by their fruit, so if a guy seems to be showing signs of being a Christian it might be worth asking. Sometimes you also can just tell. I’ve personally noticed when I come across Christian guys in the wild, they genuinely seem to care about people and put in an effort to be like Christ to everyone. Quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger is how they usually are.

As a single Christian man, we get frustrated too. Many women on Christian dating sites are not Christian and basically tell me they are looking for a “good guy” because they got burnt on other sites. In addition many other women practice “spiritualism” thinking it’s the same thing. So it gets frustrating weeding through these people. Then you finally meet a Christian woman but she bought into feminism and blames men masculinity for the patriarchy. Or they claim to be “strong and independent” but that is really code for having a bad attitude with lack of self control of their emotions. Which is not strong at all….then when you try to exercise chivalry by opening the door for them and get mocked for it…us men get just as frustrated with the dating process….I didn’t even get started on how they ask for your financial status on the first date!

I was previously married to a worldly narcissist who nearly destroyed my life. As a Christian woman GOD took me out of that marriage 11 years ago for which I am grateful .. I still believe in genuine, loyal, mature love not the stuff made of fairytales. Deep down in our hearts women truly would love to have a man .. not to be used for financial gain, money etc.. to complete us and for us to complete him ... yes a gentleman longing to be chivalrous, a man to be a protector and a woman to be vulnerable (not weak) but to allow that "right of passage". The world is corrupted by Satan and "his" rules and unfortunately women have got it wrong completely when they say "I don't need a man".. whilst the world may have gained a lot for women's freedoms we are truly poorer for having lost so much in not allowing men to be real men!! Men should wait for marriage, but unfortunately women have already slept with several dudes. A man is more willing to wait for women who have been waiting their whole life, but when women sleep around, men will no longer value them enough to commit to them or wait. That is just the consequences of sin. You can't have several sexual encounters, or a promiscuous past and then later wake up and feel entitled to a Man who values u enough to wait. Natural consequences will still exist.

God is near to the brokenhearted but I believe it is the devil that is keeping you bound. Thinking of her obsessively, feeling her presence when she's not there, many dreams of her this is the devil that does this to keep you sad and chained to what was than moving forward. The bible says in Romans 8:1 : Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, meaning you shouldn't feel condemned after already asking for forgiveness. God doesn't operate like this where your begging for forgiveness. YOU ARE HIS SON THAT HE LOVES. You have no idea who God is going to bless you with once you give this pain and person over to him and for real let it go. Its not a magic trick but its constantly asking God to help you move forward and thanking God for a new beginning and you will eventually wake up and not think of them anymore. There is no one that has left your life that God wouldn't replace that is 10x better TRUST ME! You are in a place now where you need to #1: Break the soul tie bond created for her as an idol in place of God #2: Get into Godly self loving yourself. Get into your Word so that your identity can be rooted in Christ. #3 Speak Scriptures over yourself because God says he has called you fearfully and wonderfully made. With this you are on the step to be the best you that You can be. EVERYONE MAKES MISYAKES, but we gotta get back up again! I’ll add some personal practical advice as a Christian man: - Refrain from being overly picky in trivial areas with men - Try to stop rejecting good suitors so frequently.. beware of holding out for a “better deal” - Beware of heavily pursuing a career in replacement of looking for a spouse… it gets harder for women to find good quality partners as they get older - Reject cultural doctrines that conflict with biblical teaching (feminism etc) This repels Christian men instantly. - Develop feminine attributes if needed. Our cultural pushes women to be masculine & men to be feminine. Reject this wholeheartedly - Beware of who you draw influence from. Do you have more cultural voices influencing you than biblical voices? Who are your friends? Are they a good influence? - Of course, follow everything Mark said in this video😎

We need to pay attention to what people do and not as much to what people say. I can say "I am a godly man," but if I act like an ungodly man, I am an ungodly man. I heard that there are christian single men who want a girlfriend, but are afraid to commit to marriage. Result: they string you along, for years, if you're not careful. They're not being honest, & they're time wasters. Having a girlfriend gives them greater status, & that may be their motive to have you around. So selfish. I don't know what else is wrong with them, I mean why would you date someone you don't find attractive? Or do they have LGBTQ issues they may be trying to hide? Maybe, with some. In my '60's now, I'd advise any woman to just stop such a relationship. You're wasting your time, your life, when you could be dating someone who is genuinely attracted to you and interested in you as a potential mate. Far better off single than with the wrong person.

I will wait for God's timing. Each time I hear that single women, why stay at home and expect your husband to find you. As if we need to put ourselves "out there" to actually meet your spouse from God. You see some women overdoing their visits to places unnecessarily but I may be wrong. I realise that nomatter what we do or don't do, no matter where we are or are not, I believe we will meet when God says it is the right time. Afterall, singlehood is too a gift from God to focus on Him. I see a lot of people do otherwise and it can be misleading. I pray for a good man from God. That's all. Thank you AGW for this video. Feeling blessed😇

It’s so hard to date today as a Christian woman. I just schooled myself and leaned how to date again. I learned to pray to God for what I need and want. God spoke to me and told me: “Don’t chase. Let them chase you. Just serve me in the meantime”. That’s what I am doing. If it’s God’s will for my life, a husband will find me. In the interim I will remain single. Singleness is not a curse. Paul said so. Thank you for this video. I’ve been watching for the past few years. I love your content.

Yes God's Holy Word states "... a man that finds a wife finds a good thing..." Not a woman who finds a husband. If the man doesn't pursue, he's definitely not the one for you and it's not in a position to be The Godly spiritual leader and head that a husband is called to be in Jesus, at that time. Sounds like you are wise and going about it the right way. May the Lord bless and keep you and reveal your Boaz(maybe not so much older than you lol) at the most appropriate time. God's timing is never early and never late. #TobyMac 😄

When God told me that marriage was in his perfect will for my life when I didn't want to get married at the time I prayed " Lord you knew what generation I would be born into and when the assault on men and marriage would take place. Help me to keep my trust and faith in you no matter what I hear and see. Let your will be done and promises be fulfilled in my life". And though I've been more than disappointed I trust in due season it will work out for his good in Jesus name Amen. But masculinity has been under attack for decades now & most marriages don't last either so most young ppl don't have good role model & have very little idea what putting another's needs before your own even looks like! *EDIT* Men can benefit from this video as well. I'm going to tailor it to my situation and improve in any areas I may be lacking in. However, I do still want to share this from the perspective of a Godly man who is looking to find a Christian woman. God bless! PLEASE make one of these for men! I think there is a misconception that because men have been increasingly leaving the church, they are not of the faith. Most professing Christians erroneously believe that religious practices are their salvation and equate church-going with Christianity. However, my issue is finding women that are Christian. I mean women that believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins. And when I do, they severely lack the fruit-bearing that needs to follow. For example, I have met Christian professing, church-going women that RUN whenever I mention celibacy or anything that signifies a God-led relationship. They applaud my faith yet ghost me once they realize how serious I am about it. The women that SAY they want a Godly man don't even give me the chance to show them what a Godly relationship should look like with a Godly man. I praise God for revealing the true intentions of said women. But this is something that I think a lot of Christian men are going through. And the only people addressing men's issues in dating are secular dating gurus that make these men worse off. I thank God for your platform in this regard, and I hope more Christian men find you as I did. There are plenty of Christian, devoted single men such as myself. And we feel the same way as the women do because the women who say they want Godly men often prove otherwise by the fruit they bear. They seem to want the "bad boy" that they can turn into a "churchman," not the Christian man who is ready to lead through God. It's baffling, and I think we need to address it. Because it makes no logical sense to complain, get what you say you want, and then dismiss it because you're "not ready." Again, I praise God for revealing the true intentions of the women I've dealt with in this regard. But men are going through this as well. And I hope you make a video for men because I desire to be married, and it's hard to find a fruit-bearing Christian woman.

I hardly believe there are any single men who truly love the Lord, His Word, and want to live a life led by God. A small number of men (very small!) present that but when it comes to obeying God’s Word (like abstinence before marriage) they really don’t follow God. If true Godly men are out there, it’s a needle in a haystack! lol. It’s nice to hear just one man who is looking for what I am looking for. Gives me hope that a single TRUE man of God exists. God bless

Just to add my two cents - as a Christian man trying to live a godly life and also looking for a partner, just remember that the fact that you waited for the right man is going to make you attractive to the right man. For example, I can hardly imagine marrying someone who didn't wait until marriage and decided to date godless men, etc. Of course with God there is forgiveness and he can make me see past it, but I think the devil just wants us to lose our purity. Staying pure and strong with your convictions, without compromise, is going to make you more attractive to the right person. Also, it gives godless men less options. It frustrates me that so many women seem to compromise and just put up with men that treat them bad, bad boys, etc. Men will rise to a higher standard if they are held to it.

@@horschiday9449 It makes me really sad that guys try to get you to lower your standards instead of being willing to work on themselves. It's also far from the what the Bible teaches, we are called to sanctification through the transforming process of the Holy Spirit. I was recently in a relationship (my first at 26) and one thing that attracted me to this person was the fact that she wasn't even looking. She told me later she had had some interest in me for a while, but she never pursued me in that way. She was so grateful for just our friendship at the time. We did decide not to go further in the end because for us both the ultimate goal of a relationship is marriage and we didn't see a fit, but I can't stress how attractive it was to see someone who is not desperate, trusting God fully and also innocent when it comes to love. I decided now that instead of being in a state of "looking", I just want to embrace my singleness fully until God shows me a person that he wants me to pursue, even if it's never. My standards are also really high I would say, and I've kind of come to terms with the fact that I might just end up alone as a result, although of course I continue to ask God to bring the right person into my life. It's really encouring to see others in this position who choose to stay true to their convictions, so thank you. And I will pray for you 🙏

AMEN ‼️ Thank you so much for sharing. This topic isn't discussed in the church. Singleness isn't a highly talked about topic in the church. Marriage is a blessing and a ministry but singleness is as well. Once a woman/man makes the choice to follow Jesus there's a new way. Learning to date, seek a husband/wife. The process of learning what waiting on the Lord while praying needs to be taught about in a depth way. The biblical word about not being unequally yoked should has been said and is true but teaching on the topic helps the full body function in the order the Lord wants us to. This was so good . I'm so grateful for you videos. May God continue to bless you and all that you do.

My men friends are great guys as friends. I would not want them as a husband. I haven't had a date in 10 yrs., not bc I wasn't asked, but bc they weren't Christians. Christian men haven't been very godly in attitudes towards Christian women in my dating experience. I was going to a singles bible study where there were only a few women. One week ,I was the only woman there. The things they said about women was so bad, I never returned. So men, have to teach other men to respect woman, the way woman are told to respect men. This video was so good, spot on, and timely. Thank you, Mark! I find in my singleness that my faithfulness to the Word of God makes a difference. If I can't be faithful now, how can I be faithful in a marriage? I have given up a selfish act that has given me instant pleasure that many young men struggle with, and I decided that instead of filling God's ears with endless requests for a spouse, I am going to be faithful now and trust in Him. Right now, it is very hard to find Godly young women. So many seem full of themselves, and focused on being comfortable in life rather than fully taking the narrow road which is life under Him. I might also be seeing mainly this because of my circles - people of the Mennonite faith. Anyhow, I would encourage everyone to wait upon God and allow Him to give you direction as far as how your life should go, and who you should marry one day. Be loving no matter what. There is peace in being obedient and being where God wants you to be. Stripping ourselves of our selfish desires is worth it! Again, great video!

Sharing my perspective, I added this in a comment, but I'll share some other notes: 1. Some of us need to move with God's confirmation. Literally. If you live in a super secular city, you need to expand. Not saying the world isn't, but there's a difference between certain cities (in the U.S. at least--we all can pick out a few that are super secular--I live in one of them). 2. I think those of us in ministry (any involvement with church, not just pastoring) have it harder because many people get intimidated about our title, and not see us as a person. 3. As a woman, I find two extremes: Men who don't attend church, refuse to, come up with a million of excuses on why they don't go, (usually they don't tithe either), but genuinely love God in other areas, and those who attend church, but are worldly. Both of these men kind of cling onto me to guide them. 4. Singleness is a GIFT. It was hard for me to understand this. Take this time to develop with God, discover who you are with Christ, travel, make friends, get hobbies, etc. 5. Some of us don't want to date single parents (who are active, good parents) and we make sweeping statements about them, instead of showing grace, and understanding their full situation (sometimes the man/woman had a spouse or SO that passed, for example). Sometimes, that person may be your spouse. I hear many women and men flat out talk badly about the kids "being a red flag". 6. What Mark said, remove people who do the nonstop complaining--find solutions. I'm still figuring out mine in my life. 😆 7. This is a BIG one--Your "list" of preferences hinder you from finding your spouse. Standards are NOT preferences. Learn the difference between the two. It's okay to want a healthy partner. It's not okay to reduce your dating pool because someone gained 5 pounds. Let's not be ridiculous, now. lol.

Many great points here, Mark. Thanks for a longer video. I think it would be good to see you on a panel with some other ministers at some point like what Isaiah Saldivar, Vlad Savchuk and even Matt Walsh do at times, to share your experience on the Word, life and ministry. I feel there's an absence voices and experience like yours and for those that are already there they often seem to come from similar expressions of the faith which becomes limiting. Your time on missions in Liberia would be interesting to hear more about. Unless people were surfing the web looking for advice on relationships I think it would be difficult to come across your ministry, and the wealth of knowledge you have about the Bible and living for Christ in this modern, secular society. This is a shame because there's so much more than just Godly relationship guidance here but, I understand, it's a big corner to paint...what about the other parts of the "room" though? I believe you do sincerely consider your impact and visibility, Mark, but I hope you will, at some point, diversify your mediums and platforms. I really believe in and have really received from your God-given gift, but perhaps the laser focus needs to be more of a torch? Sincere regards and may God keep blessing the work of your heart, soul and strength.

Hi Chris, thank you. Years ago, living elsewhere in the UK I had 5 christian male friends. We were all in the same church. I was a bit closer to one, & told him from the outset it was just friends. We had a v healthy friendship. In the same bible study group, he used to walk me home afterwards when it was dark earlier. I visited him occasionally. He'd make a coffee, & we'd watch his Star Trek videos! Once I sat patiently, while he cleaned out the fish tank! The others - we mainly mixed with in a large walking group once a month or so. It was a v refreshing situation, & they treated me & other single women with respect, & vice versa. I'm so glad this is possible. I really value men who show us kindness, and I enjoy encouraging those who do, such as if a man opens a door for me. Lesson learned: enjoy the friendships you've got while you're waiting for someone suitable. Thank you again, and God bless.

Ladies- here is some honest advice from a healthy Christian man, You may or may not like it but, it is the truth. Guys want a gal who takes care of herself. That doesn't mean expensive clothes, fancy fingernails, etc. It simply means- keep a proper weight. Guys do not like heavy women. It looks bad and is unhealthy. simply. You do not have to be a stick but, eat right, watch your weight and get some exercise. You will look better, feel better, have more energy and guys will be more aware of you. It is not so much clothes, it is appearance, just take care of yourselves and do not get fat. There are too many nice gals out there that are overweight. a major turn out. The other thing? You will have to compromise. Guys, the same way. No one is perfect but, be the best you can be, take care of yourself afterall, the Bible does call our bodies a temple. Blessings

Our focus should be upon Him, not another human being. Worry not, the Lord will provide for you, offer true love to you, and never leave you! As a former Bible college student, churchgoer, and present Christian, I have some thoughts about this. I left the church not because there was sin in my church and Bible college, though there was; sin will be everywhere, even in the church, as the church is comprised of sinners. No, what bothered me was the lack of response in handling the sin that happened there. Hence, I left. Also, before COVID happened, I was going to return to the church; I really was! Unfortunately, no church in my area resisted the governor's and mayors' orders to close; that is to say that there are no good, strong Godly churches in my area that followed God's Word that admonishes us to not forsake the assembling of ourselves. Hence, I never returned, nor do I plan to do so. Anyway, here are my thoughts about the question of dating, relationships, and marriage among Christians. One, the church is feminine, and it bashes men. Two, Christian women aren't that different from their worldly counterparts. Three, the divorce rate among Christians is higher than it is among secular people. The church is feminine, and it caters to women. Churches and pastors know that, if they don't please the wives, they don't have butts in the seats; because those butts aren't in the seats, the collection plate is lighter too. How does the church cater to women? Here's one example: on Father's Day, men are chastised and admonished to be the men, husbands, and fathers they should be; they're upbraided from the pulpit. Does anything similar happen on Mother's Day? NO WAY, JOSE! Again, pastors know where their bread is buttered, so they govern themselves accordingly. You know, I, as a Christian man don't need to attend any church to hear that I'm scum of the Earth; I don't need to attend church to be bashed and trashed. I can find that everywhere else in society, TYVM! All one has to do is tune in TV or radio for a few minutes to see this constant man bashing 24/7/365. You think I want to hear the same in church? GTFOOH! You want Godly, Christian men back in church? Then make it a place that's not only hospitable to them; make it a place they want to be! Ah, but that won't happen, as the majority of pastors, deacons, and elders want to please the women. Again, they know where their bread is buttered. We see this attitude all through Christianity. For example, there was a Christian film some years ago, called "Fireproof". It was about a Christian couple having marital problems. Do you know what? The husband was portrayed as the bad guy-what a surprise! The couple's problems were all Hubby's fault. This completely glossed over the reality that, when a relationship has problems, that both parties are at fault; it may not be an exact, 50/50 split, but it's a split nonetheless. When there are relationship problems, both the man and woman are culpable. That's just the way it is. Point #2 is that Christian women aren't that different from their worldly counterparts. They've adopted the same, feminist values. They pursue degrees and careers just as secular women do. They have the same attitudes, dress, and demeanor. Oh, and if you, as a Christian man, even HINT at submission (the role of a Godly wife), LOOK OUT! They'll bristle at the notion just like any secular, feminist woman would. Christian women do precious little to differentiate themselves from their secular counterparts. Well, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, any thinking man will assume that he's dealing with a duck-DUH! Finally, the divorce rate among Christians is HIGHER than it is among secular people; that's a SHAMEFUL TRAVESTY! Even so, that was Barna's findings when studying the question of divorce in the church. A more recent study by a university confirmed Barna's findings; I believe it was Baylor that did the study, but I can't recall for sure. In any case, divorce among Christians occurs more often than it does for non-Christians. That's just the way it is. Furthermore, even if someone wants to dispute those findings, one cannot dispute this: divorce happens all too often in the church, when it ought to be a rarity. After all, aren't Christians called to be the light of the world? Aren't we called to be better than the world? How can we do either of the above when we don't LIVE any better than the world? Now, as a man, divorce concerns me. Why? One, because my life will be WRECKED by it, for one! I'll lose the house, the kids, everything. Wifey will keep the house, while I keep the mortgage payment for the house I'm no longer allowed to live in. I'll be saddled with child support and possibly alimony too. After all that, I might end up HOMELESS! Two, women file for divorce 80% the time; if they're college educated, then they file for divorce 90% of the time. The family courts, where divorces are adjudicated, are overwhelmingly biased against men. Anyway, as the old country song goes, Mama got the gold mine, while Daddy got the shaft. Sorry, but marriage offers few, if any, benefits for a man. Before I continue, there's a Christian man who's MGTOW; that's men going their own way for the uninitiated. He's a KZfaqr who talks about Christianity, marriage, MGTOW, and how they relate to the Bible. His channel is is called "Whirlwind MGTOW", and I'd encourage you to watch some of his videos. BTW, Whirlwind MGTOW married a Christian woman from his church, and she divorced him after 10 years of marriage. Though he doesn't make videos very often anymore, he has a lot of older ones that are still up; for those pondering where the good, Christian men are, I'd admonish you all to watch his videos, and for you to listen to what he says. Those are the elephants in the room that NO ONE in the church wants to talk about! However, if you want Christian men back in the church, let alone willing to marry, you'd better listen to him; many of us have the same concerns, concerns that are all too often ignored. Now, that leads me to ask some questions. WHY would I, as a man, want to marry? What does it offer me? Oh, I have a righteous outlet for my sexual desire? Oh, please! All too often, wives deny their husbands intimacy, especially after the kids come. Why on Earth would I, as a man, want to be celibate within marriage? Why would I want to have all the responsibilities and obligations of a husbands, while enjoying none of the benefits? Why would I want to risk being homeless, because my now ex wife eviscerated me in the divorce? I could go on, but you get my point. In closing, many Christian men have concerns, concerns that the church has ignored. One, there are no good, solid, Godly churches in my area; all of them obsequiously followed gov't mandates to close during COVID. How do I know? Because none made the news, that's why! Two, the church is feminine, and it bashes men. When I get that in the world, WHY would I want to get more of it in church too? Three, most Christian women are little different than their secular counterparts; whether it's in terms of dress, demeanor, conduct, lifestyle, or conversation, it's almost impossible for a Christian man to discern which women are Christians vs. those who are not. Finally, divorce occurs more often in the church than it does the world. That being the case, WHY would I want to have an even greater chance of having my life destroyed by divorce? Why would I marry someone from within the church? If the risk were negligible, that would be one thing; unfortunately, according to Barna, divorce happens more often within the church than without. Hence, I'm single, and I plan on remaining that way. Those are my thoughts.

I've also asked our Lord Father to please give me the extra energy and pep to get out into the world more. Now I'm doing more sports and hobbies, reading the Bible daily, praying and being very intentional and specific with that, as well as increasing my service in the community, serving my family, and unabashedly basking in my wholesome feminine energy. I'm also surrounding myself with women who love their spouse and kids, love God, and have good, decent, wise things to say. I guess I'm trying to do all this so God actually has something to work with. Haha! I really don't deserve God's ministrations if I'm at home in my pjs watching Netflix all weekend pouring emotion into a character that doesn't exist!
