eye opener.. I choose guys who are not putting me first just like my parents did. I've always had this fear that no one will choose me or put me first. And in my friendships I do the same thing, even go farder and put them first always put them on a pedestal dedicate my time and feel guilty even at the thought of saying no to them WOW

The last guy I met was handsome, successful and funny. From the moment we met we had an instant rapport. We had so much in common. I thought I’d met ‘the one’. Then, a few dates in, he commented ‘look at the state of that’ about a size 16 or so woman in leopard print yoga pants. I knew it was time to end it. Pick someone kind and they’ll always be kind to you, even during the hard times.

I am going through a breakup right now and I really appreciate this comment. My ex was mean towards his mother, he said he has no moral debt towards her because he was mad that she does not save money. Although she had an expensive apartment on her name, buy anyway. Not a nice, kind guy... I understand now

I needed to hear this! Sexual chemistry, best friend chemistry and admire/respect. Look at their qualities. Make what you love familiar and make the negative unfamiliar. Decide to being lovable and accept yourself. Absolutely believe that you’re worthy of love. It’s a choice to be happy! ❤️

Oh Marisa, thank you so much for sharing so much of your own life and experience with us. I have finally found the companion for the rest of my life... and my ex husband from a 20-year marriage who's love was never attainable even when I tried jumping through all the hoops he said he required said, "Oh, I see you've finally made the effort and put in the work to stay with someone". And I told him, "Nonono, it couldn't be simpler! It is so easy to be with someone who accepts me for who I am." As opposed to 20 years of being with someone who criticized me for who or what I am not. So thankful to watch this video and have it confirmed that my companion ticks all the boxes. We're in our third year, and for the first time, ever in my 48 years, the more time I spend with him, the more I discover things that I like about him. Ciao from Italy, L

Absolutely!!! Spent 7 years TRYING to please looking over my shoulder all The time .. he was NEVER satisfied!! I’m on my own now.. but not for long always grateful for healing time. Far better to be alone then with somebody who makes you very unhappy and diminishes your self-respect self worth and self love.

I resonate with everything you mentioned. I was in a relationship which I was head over heels in. I had the sexual chemistry, the best friend chemistry and thought I had the admiration and respect in the beginning. Over time, this person wanted me to change the way I perceived my son, treated him and change my thoughts about the things that mattered to me. I remember putting off a real estate course because he felt it would take away from our time. I wanted to make him so happy I became exhausted, miserable and physically sick. He always threatened to leave me and I felt scared to lose him so I tried to be and think the way he wanted and resented him and myself in the process. It showed in the relationship as I became less interested physically and lost respect for him even though I tried to convince my self otherwise. He was very critical of everything and I became critical too. I’m very grateful that he left because I did not know how to leave him. I’m learning now that I’m enough and undoing habits to avoid these pitfalls as a result of an ill perception of myself.

@@lifeslessons9889 Same here. If you have to twist yourself into a pretzel to be accepted by your nearest and dearest, run! They are narcissists if the first order, sick and hollow inside, who need to put you down, so they feel "up". That won't last long, then they need to do it again. Do not accept this.

Funny, that’s exactly wat I often say to ppl who tell me that it’s time I find someone to be with and eventually marry: “if I don’t find my partner in this lifetime, I’m ok with it.” I hated all the dramas with my ex and now that I’ve my peace of mind, I enjoy being by myself. I don’t seem to want to find someone else either. Thx for your wise words MP 🙏🏻

There is a common fear among people who fail in love once or twice that they might have the same experience as the previous one and due to this reason they always have a doubt and apprehensions about whether the next one will give them what they are looking or leave them in same condition as past ones. 🙃🙃Even I learnt from my experiences that you get what you focus on. If your focus on your failures then definitely the next one will be same and if you focus on success and look for positive things you are bound to be happy and peaceful in whatever you do. 😊💝

Father left for another woman. Its So weird that what happens in your childhood, keeps repeating until you Are ready to accept it, feel the buried feelings finally And heal. Love this so much ❤...thank you for sharing this insight. It's amazing how sexual chemistry can cloud our judgment. It's also uncanny how we gravitate towards the familiar, often subconsciously, even if the familiar is terribly toxic!! I'm happy that I finally broke that pattern as well...my boyfriend was someone who initially held no attraction for me, however he was persistent so I got to know him on a different level and the chemistry developed with time. 😘A sharp wit & intelligence are my favorite traits in a partner as well!!🤗💖

Thank you for sharing whispers of wisdom. As a single person I find it interesting how friends or acquaintances express that it’s hard to believe I’m not married and they have an interest to ... find someone for me! 😂😳😂 As you share, being alone is quite a good status, as an unhealthy relationship without respect and trust between two people is of no desire. When we find a person whom we become friends with and experience in each other a resting place of like-mindedness in values and beliefs, spontaneous conversational sharing, joy, laughter, care and kindness gestures the outcome will be unity upon our responses leading to sexual intimacy. Those engaging in sex early on in relationships, guilty 👋 as charged, will come to learn however the overarching requisite for bonding with one another is found in the emotional, intellectual and spiritual areas of life... they cannot be separated from the physical. Continuing to be blessed by your spirit of kindness to your family of followers! Gracias 🙂💕👊

Thank you Marisa. I have been following and learning from your work for a wile now and made some of your very powerful hypnosis courses. I am divorced and have children.I left my husban even though we had an amazing mental & sexual connection and we loved each other very much, but he was very abusive mentaly, critical, negative and, he was not a kind person. I felt our relationship was very hard work. It was more than 2 years ago since I divorced. I am a magnet to men, in a good way, I have so many oportunities to meet and start dating someone new but I am pushing them away and I don't even meet anyone for more than a coffee. Listening to you, I realised how afraid I was and am to fall into the same abusive relationship so I cut myself from all the potential relationship men around me. Some are realy all a woman would want but I realize that subconsiously, I am looking for the "bad boy" type, but I don't want to date him really. So I continue pushing men away.Saying no. I made a decision to stop looking for this type of man. I will make it familiar. To look for the other type.Sexual chemistry, best friend chemistry and we must respect and want to be with this kind, smart and nice person .Thank you .(-:

So glad you enjoyed this. You can make unfamiliar qualities familiar by paying close attention to who you are attracted to and who you spend time with. I seem to always attract men who are younger than me. I am not sure what is up with that pattern. I don't want to be with someone younger than me. I don't mind a few years years. Even 5-6 years is doable at this stage (46). I just find it discouraging when I know the man is 10 years or more younger and I can tell he likes me and I do like his personality but I never open up to the pursuit of it because he is just too young. So disappointing when that happens. Most important to me is finding someone I respect and admire. Surely I can find that in someone my age?! LOL. Someone a few years older than me would be a refreshing change of pattern. Can I make that the familiar?

Sometimes the gulf between having a healthy life or mind and where we currently are makes it soooo difficult to implement or even understand people like Marissa The secret is in how u self identify. U hv to change ur self perception. Change you self concept first

There is one other thing you need to do to find a partner. You need to get out of the house. Get out and about. I know too many women who go to work and then just go home and watch tv and they wonder why they don't find the right person. They don't usually just show up on your doorstep. Unless you have a job where you meet lots of people you need to venture out

Good point but where to go to meet someone? I'm a guy and don't meet a lot of people at work, don't go to church or bars, so where meet a nice single woman? Also the online dating experience hasn't worked out.

@@jacque4697 I guess some ideas might be that you could volunteer for a fundraiser or event. Take a class at a community college. In fact if you have a skill you could teach a night class at the community college. Get a cute puppy or borrow a friend's and walk it in the park you would be surprised how many people stop to say hi to the dog and end up talking to you. Go to a museum or an outdoor event. Window shopping in a mall. I once dated a man I meet in a grocery store when I couldn't reached the top shelf and he helped me. There are lots of places. Just don't sit at home. Good luck!

Hi Aurinko, glad you enjoyed the video. Sorry to hear that you find dating difficult. If you wish to seek self development in this area, I would potentially advise booking an RTT session with one of our specialist therapists who can discuss your concerns further and give you additional support. You can book this using the link below: rapidtransformationaltherapy.com/findaspecialisttherapist/bookingform/ Marisa Peer Team

Right now I am not looking for any relationship because I wanna learn more about me and what exactly relationship means, but I do have a male friend, and I love him a lot according to me love is just something found in every relation I love him as much as I love my female friend. But now I am confused is he someone I can move in in romantic relationship in future, and if not how will I identify or know that this is the person I would want to live n share my future life with? If u suggest me reading me any book or any Playlist pls do. Thank u
