Some big ones helping me finally make progress: 1) ketosis morning - 1 liter / 2 pints of water, vitamins (from a weekly vitamin holder), and bulletproof coffee (coffee + MCT oil + slice of grass fed butter all blended) and not eating till about 2-3pm and before 9pm (about a 6-7hour window, MCT is a serious game changer with cravings and energy). 2) 20min+ of weights and 20min+ of cardio or walking each morning (use a coach app to provide variety each day - I use Fitbod and Downdog running) in this ketosis state. 3) cutting out most if not all of the alcohol, switching to non-alcohol beers also works for some but others might need a complete cessation and focusing more time into more positive habits. 4) get rid of most snacks and binge trigger foods like chips/cookies/crackers - if there's emotion involved, this emotion needs to be transitioned into the exercise and healthier constructive hobbies and activities instead. 5) 10min+ of morning meditating to give the habits and awareness an edge with your goals and choices, set a timer and don't beat yourself up over the thinking - just keep refocusing back on breath and external as the mind tries to resist the stillness, bring back the stillness with eyes closed and forgetting the timer.

Just eat greens and proteins. Once you have that down then slowly start your workouts. It can be a walk after your your first keto meal. Stay away from sugar, carbs and processed meats. Drink water. Sugar substitutes trick your body to produce the same results as in intaking sugars. Follow this and you don't have to use a calculator just eat less and move more. It can be a slow walk but progress slowly. Elliptical and bikes are awesome, preserve your joints. He had great eating techniques just a few more pointers

LOVE the realism in your thinking. I'm 14 pounds down since 1 September, on a partially medically motivated (Doctor: Let's get that Glucose/A1C number down!), Mediterranean-diet based plan, coupled with a three-day a week Orange Theory Fitness (OTF) habit. Was a BIG fast food aficionado prior to realizing that the blood work doesn't lie...and you are ABSOLUTELY correct...it takes time to change, as well as learning to not use eating f*** ups as an excuse to completely "leave the paved portion of the roadway". New subscriber. You are a rockstar. Keep up the GREAT, motivating work!
