Are VA panels better than IPS? Comparing the IFFalcon 55K71SG and the Prism+ Q55-QE, which would you recommend? Thanks!

@@shawnchow5775 it depends on the use of it.. For gaming and colour sensitive work definitely IPS is definitely the way to go.. But for TVs I would say both work well because the benenofts of IPS don't matter as much.

Thanks techobable for your review! Decided to buy the tv 2 days ago and the user experience has been great so far. I love the fact that i am able to change the google assistant language to chinese for my parents to use.

Are the colours more dull compared to the one in the review? I bought one recently, vivid picture mode, full brightness, and it still doesn't look as sharp or alive as in the video be it netlix or KZfaq. It's as though it doesn't do 4K upscaling and stuck at 1080p.

Hi Technobabble. Thanks for the recommendation! I've been keeping a lookout on this brand for awhile now. As of the current moment, I'm quite happy and satisfied with the price point and quality of the product. The only downside would be that my kids would often fiddle with the hands free function all the time. I'm afraid that my smart fan/light might malfunction someday due to the frequent turning on/off. Once again, appreciate the work you've done!

Hi, nice vid. Went back to their website when you mentioned ips panel. Thought i saw wrongly...haha... Am currently in the market for a tv, and happened to change upon their brand, thus your video...How's the audio on the tv? Do they provide tv mount as well? Did drop them an email to see if they have a showroom.

Well panel wise it's kinda the same.. What seperates it is whether a panel is edgelit(not good) or backlit(good). This IFFALCON TV is back-lit... Coupled with the micro dimming results in really good picture quality.

Even thou is a young brand, i think the price point and spec is way better than other brands that i know off. Maybe i should give it a try.

I am not ready to jump on the smart train just yet. My LCD tv is a very old model but still serves me well till this day. What are the convincing factors to get a new one which seems to me(like a second monitor with a very big screen?)

That's actually a great question and I probably should have addressed that.. Haha Well the way TV media is progressing... Streaming services are going to be THE essential service to watch all your favourite shows.. And for that you're gonna need a smart TV or a TV and an android box or apple TV separately.. So having a smart TV kinda kills 2 birds with one stone :)

Performance has faltered at all.. Very happy with it. Sound quality directly from the TV isn't great but then again I don't like TV speakers at all.. Lol.. At this price range theres not much to pick from so u can't really go wrong with this.

Well the build quality is really good but I can't vouch for the long term durability of the TV as I've only had it for awhile. However more improtantly you're covered by a 3yr warranty

The TVS design looks very LG style, my current tv is LG that i love the silver color desgin .Bought LG 2 years ago 55 inch about 1500, seems the function more high tech than LG.The LG magic remote function attractve me to buy at that time, but seems the hands free more convinient than the magic remote May consider this when i move to my new house.

just fyi. some of your voice control (change input, volume) is doable with all if not most android tv. same to using your phone as a remote.

True but not to the extend as this TV.. Usual android voice notification doesn't control TV input changes that sort of thing.. This one does

@@TechnoBabbleMedia Might be down to how its enabled. I actually have to say HDMI 1/2/3 for it to work. Maybe its just finding out the right input name the manufacturer has put? For Volume I haave always had it working just have to specify the TV name esp if you have other displays/tvs connected to assistant in your home

Don't buy iffalcon, worst customer service, I brought it, but the tv screen blackout, and no one received the call, I'm having very bad experience
