The culture here is obviously and unfortunately toxic. When abuse is prevalent, people many times get used to it and stop putting up their boundaries and taking care of themselves. Case in point, this person obviously knew about the culture, yet was there at 4 a.m. It's like walking down the street in the most dangerous neighborhood in the city in the middle of the night. While the crime isn't their fault, wisdom seems like it's vacated the premises. Praying for wisdom and healing for all involved and going forward. Also for accountability!

Ppl with ptsd and all sorts of mental issues were attracted to this place to begin with as it promises supernatural healing with no accountability.

If you haven't been in a situation with extremely manipulative people, then you probably wouldn't understand. These type of situations are hard to explain because manipulative people know that doing anything that is obviously pressuring and controlling gives people something you can easily point at and say they are bad, but instead it's all about attitude, intimidation, and vibe. Narcissistic strategies are easier to understand once you've come out from underneath their control.

@@martinblain6323I fully understand what you're describing, but I think what they mean is there's a lot going on here that's specific to the circumstances that only those close to the church understand. For example, a definition of the"whipping room" is fully warranted because even though it's evident is a highly manipulative situation, it should be made well known they even have something known as the whipping room. It's also evidently understood what it is by members. These are important details that should be made well known to the public to shine a light on just what was going on and how "normal" it was to have something like this going on there.

A lot of people on video sure have a lot of negative to say about Mr Bickel. A lot of opinions from the self righteous crowd . He along with the other party involved are struggling yet. No one standing in Love- 1Corinth 13 love, that love is suppose to dwell on you. It holds no record of wrongs done. Not saying turn a blind eye but instead come along side and off friendship as a brother or sister but instead you allow offense to root and worldly judgment to speak forth from your mouth. You don’t see you have allowed offenses of others take root in you. You better repent and soften your heart while you still can.
