Look all the crap aside, Ike was a musical talent, these girls can sing, they sound great, and singing with no mics. No-one will sound like Tina because Tina has an incredible voice, but they are doing a great job on it.

The Blonde was Ike's wife Jeanette Bazelle-Turner. The lady in the middle with the braids was Ike's last wife, Audrey Madison-Turner. His last wife, Audrey is a really talented singer and a really sweet lady.

Ike Turner was a great Musician, without him we may not have ever got Tina Turner as we know her. However are there any real Ike and Tina fans out there? The dance moves on this video are some of the original dances in Ike and Tina Revue. And his new wife is mimicking Tina.

Ike married two of these women. The one on the right is Jeanette Bazzell Turner, she was married to Ike 1995-2000. The one in the middle is Audrey Madison Turner, she was married to Ike 2006-2007.

Ike is great! So what he had flaws. He cleaned up and became a better person. The guy saw some traumatic stuff as a young kid and he still moved on and became a success and contributed to this world. I'm not even taking sides because Tina was great too, may they both rest in peace

Ike couldn't find another Tina. Tina made him....and he made her. I say this because even though I love the fact that she broke away from him and re-created herself ....very successfully......however, when she was under Ike's direction, Tina had more grit and soul in how she sung and her whole persona was "raw soul" !

manny people fail to realise that Tina was coached by Ike Turner. So nothing more normal than seeing some "Tina" in every of his new protégés/partners. Despite her attempt to demonise the man through her book/movie, she could hardly conceal the truth about how he forged her to become what she is today.

musically, it was always my opinion that Ike was spot on. I thought Tina lost something when she left him. Yes she created very successful hits, but for me the songs lacked Ike's energy.

Ike found a great performance balance, splitting the audience focus between Tina, the Ikettes, and the band. Once Tina was on her own, she was the main focus and that balance wasn't as good.

because he wrote good songs and had a great band. he was also a good producer who had character. Tinas solo career was the usual conveyor belt of producers, songwriters and musicians so apart from her voice, the music was not original

It's too bad there isn't a really good book about Ike, Tina, the Ikettes, and the boys in the band. With Ike gone and the rest of the review members either dead or elderly it wold be a tough project now. It would have been a good case study about what it was like to found and maintain a successful performing and recording band during the 50s, 60s, and 70s when the music business was pretty brutal and racism was still ingrained in a large portion of the country.

I am surprised Ike didn't get up & hit the woman all in black on the right. She almost fell as she was tapping her foot on the floor in the beginning. Amazing what is concealed behind closed doors when the video is rolling.

Ike wrote and produced the songs. He picked the entire bands wardrobe and did the choreography. He did the bookings and contracts. That's why the 1st time Tina filed for divorce she asked for her name back but to continue working with Ike in the same capacity. Him doing everything and her being the talent. That is until she learned of the debt. Filing a 2nd time a few years later and requesting to keep ONLY the name. If Ike was left with all the assets Ike was left with all the debt. Loosing his biggest act.

🙄She still had debts to pay for all their cancelled shows. And the reason he had debts was because he stuffed all their money up his nose. He calculated he spent 11 million on coke. Ike never wrote another hit after Fool In Love. And the only good music was when they did covers. Tina carried Ike and Tina. Without Tina there was no show.

I ascended to the stage at Keesler AFB Miss 1955. Began to play with the piano. Carey the lead singer of our Base vocal group came up. From Galveston Tx Rightous Blues man. Could sing anybody, anything. He didn't know I blew piano. Brown LOST SOMEONE, Shirells MAYBE, BLAND, ST JAMES INFIRMANY, Pickett, I FOUND A LOVE, & IKE TURNER, I IDOLIZE YOU. I changed all songs except Brown LOST SOMEONE, drastically & dramatically. CAREY & the audience were Orgasmic. IDOLIZE YOU. Powerful Soulful!
