I don't know if he is the goat but he is definitely the best ever. (Greatest) is about compliment and numbers. (The best ever) is who got the best and most dominant skills and would beat anyone in history if they all where in the same weight class. Some mma fans always confuse goat, TBE and p4p but they are all different things. And nobody in history of ufc had more dominant skills than khabib.

@@ozzycrabs The Khamzat fight could be said to him getting "caught." Not this one. That one, Khamzat couldn't take Ikram down after many attempts, so the two journeymen --- neither was a UFC fighter jet --- went back to swinging wildly and Khamzat's upper cuts simply landed first. Ikram COULD have landed, too. But THIS ONE... it's from a LACK OF TRAINING SPECIFICALLY for an actual elite fighter like Rob. First, he trained for a 3 round fight, against another unranked. Switching to a 5 round fight against a guy so elite, he became champ at 185 in his late 20s ---- neither Khamzat nor Ikram could do that ---- and has lost to only 2 other former champs at 185.... THAT WAS TOO MUCH of a jump, a switch, for Ikram. Khabib is right: Ikram couldn't pass up such an opportunity.... But still, the challenge was BIG... to jump from being an unranked guy training 3 rounds against another unranked guy (NOWHERE near Ikram's own skills)... to fighting the #3 guy in your division?, WITHOUT ever training specifically FOR HIM, of 8 weeks? And Rob had been training for 8 weeks for KHAMZAT... for a 5 round fight.... so switching from Khamzat to Ikram was nothing that big or different... But from Ikram's stand point, the jump, the chasm.... it's too big for even Ikram to overcome.... Give him the #14 or #15 Anthony Fluffy Hernandez.... if Ikram wants to be taken seriously. If he beats the EXTREMELY TOUGH and BJJ elite Hernandez, then he WILL again be given more giant opportunities like this, in the next year or two. Otherwise, if he can't get passed Anthony Hernandez, he's gong to struggle against Top 10, Top 5, etc. And he's 31... so he doesn't have more than 3-4 years left in his very prime...
