Ross Draws The first thing I remembered loving to draw was back in 6th grade in 2010. I loved drawing Pokémon and Warrior cats. I wanted so badly, to draw my own warrior cats and to have a story behind them. I still can’t, but I can draw some Pokémon 😎

Interesting, in my opinion drawing circles [and lines] is one of the first 'instinctive' learning routines that any person that wants to draw will do; with instruction or not. Whenever I get tired of drawing lessons or completing a project I would draw circles, lines and ovals while trying to gain accuracy.

KZfaqrs are sometimes better than some professors in art schools. I'm an art student and our art professors doesn't really teach us lol They show us samples of what to do, give us a deadline and boom just do it, they won't even really teach you 😂 Though there are also some professors who help their students with some techniques, but it was literally just a "little" help. Not that I'm complaining, but every student have different skill levels. I just hope they pay more attention to their students 😂 Oh and one more, most of them don't have the word "inspiration" in their vocabulary haha At least artists in youtube they help you get inspired and teaches you that "mistakes are just happy accidents."

when Ross teaches about the brush softness, remember that if your round brush isn't with the "transfer" option selected it won't gain the same smooth/blending characteristic he shows. :) great video btw

Stunning! I've been wanting to get started with digital art for a long time now but never knew the process. As a kid, I used to sketch and paint a lot but it's a completely different game with digital art. I hope I can someday be as good as you! But thanks a lot for this. It's really helpful! ✨

I loved drawing Sonic the Hedgehog. I'm studying Computer Animation and I attribute that passion almost entirely to my childhood adoration of the Sonic CD opening animation.

Main things I learned from this video: • I should use references more and more references when I do. • A better order of drawing things than the one I was trying to use before. • High pass. I knew what it is and how it works (too well perhaps) but had no idea how useful it is for drawing. I know it's an old video, but thank you, Ross.
