@thetruthseek78668 жыл бұрын
+Ghast Dagger mmm i guess. But he has such good technique and lifts the weight with such confidence and speed. Thats what makes him a badass. Also look at his structure he was build for this. His torso and lengths of his limbs everything is there. Its not all steroids, but ya your right meaning all olympic athletes and elite athletes of every sport wouldn't be anyone without their steroid abuse.
@iD4v1d8 жыл бұрын
+Ghast Dagger Every single elite level weightlifter uses steroids. Ilya is the best even among other steroid using weightlifters, so your comment is bullshit.

@punypoppy91477 жыл бұрын
Same here. Along with technique / skill strength, power is mass times acceleration, explosiveness plays big part in these lifts altough it's not always that visible to the naked eye. Though it becomes apparent when novice tries to deadlift the heaviest weights these guys are clean and jerking heh.

@TheSteamate8 жыл бұрын
+jmspls7 Prepare for the Olimpic.
@josephgrandesdelgado68218 жыл бұрын
+jmspls7 Because he already qualified for the olympics by winning the WWC 2014, which was a qualifier event for Rio, but he needed to participate at least on two qualifier events in order to compete in the olympics, so he decided to try in the President`s Cup because it is also a qualifier event (Grand Prixes are qualifier events).
@Zane_Zaminsky8 жыл бұрын
+Joseph Grandes Delgado Thanks for the reply. Another World Championship title would have been more prestigious, though.
@DDenissssss8 жыл бұрын
+jmspls7 Because it's definitely more comfortable. We know that Ilyin has never lost in international competitions, and if he went to the WWC he would have to do all his best to beat David and Ruslan. And here in Grozny he could have no battle, no struggle. Everything according to the plan. And there are rumours in Russia, that it was a question of big money (for record), and some deal with WADA.

Saludos.

Jacob Sangiuliano they all dope. Everyone who competes at the olympics dope. It's down to how well they can cover their drug use and down to who is on the right side of USADA and WADA- unfortunately, Kazakhstan and Russia are not. So many fantastic lifters (Lovchev, Aukhadov, Ilyin) now banned.
@JD_25976 жыл бұрын
Jacob Sangiuliano yeah becuase doping makes you clean and jerk 246 kilos. No... it takes a lifetime of hard work. You fucking dumbass.
@matt88636 жыл бұрын
+Jack Dowd I totally agree with you...It's sucks that Ilyin was caught and stripped of both 2008 and 2012 Olympic metals, because they ALL use PED's. Just comes down to if they can hide it or not. PED's or not, Ilyin was an incredible world class weightlifter.

Lightnin Hopkins before he was busted I said. Not before he started taking drugs. Read what I write properly before you speak. He won his first world title when he was 17, and had been a big name ever since. Cheater or not I look up to him.
